Typically the cost of incarcerating someone for life and the death sentence end up costing the same due to the high rate of appeals with a death sentence. It ties the courts up and costs taxpayers plenty. Becoming aware of the different cultures around us is not the same as encouraging the behavior. Have an open mind and stop judging.
