90210 Spin-Off Star: "There Are Already Romances On Set"

 Jason Merritt/FilmMagic; Mathew Imaging/WireImage.com Actor Ryan Eggold says "the chemistry so far is fantastic" among his co-stars of The CW's new 90210 spin-off – and there's even an on-set romance. "We may get sick of each other, but we haven't yet," the actor told Usmagazine.com at the premiere of The Promotion in L.A. Wednesday. "Already friendships [are] forming and it's a really good group of very excited people," he said. Asked if he is dating, Eggold told Us: "Single and I will tell you that there are already romances on set." Any on-set love may heat up when the cast starts shooting in June (See a clip of the show here). "There is no set yet so I have no idea what the hell's going to happen a year from now," he added. But Eggold (who plays Ryan Matthews, an English teacher at West Beverly High) was coy when pressed if he's dating a cast-mate. "That I can't say," he said. "That's how it works. I don't know who made up the rules. " Original 90210 stars Jennie Garth and Tori Spelling are also returning to their old zip code – along with Full House alum Lori Loughlin . Forget bringing Brandon back, he sucked...I was so glad when he left. Now Dylan...hmmmm, I could go for more Dylan, see what happened with Kelly and Dylan, introduce a little Brenda back into that mix. You could have a whole show about that threesome ;)

Bring back Jason Priestley. Shannen was only on for 3 or 4 seasons, he was on for 8 whole years. Brandon should be HIGHLY CONSIDERED to come back for a Brandon and Kelly reunion that US fans deserve! CW, are you listening? What's 90210 without a walsh?

I loved 90210 gorwing up. It was the best show to watch relating to the teen years. I'm excited to see the new 90210. But it defintely won't be as good as the original! And yes, I've been told since forever that I look like Tori Spelling. I think that's a good thing :)

I'm also not liking the fact of the misleading picture of "romance on set" and Jennie Garth with that guy. Ridiculous, US Magazine. Put someone else's picture in that slot instead if insinuating Garth is cheating on her husband and 3 daughters. *thumbs down*

Yes, Dawn, you are right...nothing will replace the original 90210. I'll be honest, I grew up in that time watching the show faithfully and I am even buying the complete seasons as they come out. It'll be interesting to see the new 90210 and maybe with a few of the original stars it will be okay. I hope they add more of the original stars such as Ian, Luke, Andrea, and so forth.

I do agree that nothing will replace the old 90210, but i think this show could actually be really good - along the lines of Gossip Girl. I think I'll definitely give it a try...who knows, it could be great!!!
