I think KMB above is 80% right about Heather and the perimenapausal comment....yes.. she has had some emotional upsets in the last couple of years but when hormones are not in balance (during the teenage years and again at change of life) women do portray extreme emotions, behavior and aniety.. It's chemical...that is why it cannot be helped by people telling you to snap out of it. Heather is in the right place... take it from someone over 55... I was exactly where she was 9 years ago.. and now I am fine. Heather may be a celebrity..but she is not exempt from being human..like the rest of us. Get well Heather..you were smart enough to ask for help.

The Ventura County Fire Department has just released the 911 call that prompted paramedics to rush to actress Heather Locklear’s L.A.-area home on Saturday night.
A man — who identifies himself as a medical doctor — says: "I have a patient and I have a feeling she's suicidal, and I want someone to go there.”
It was the second call the doctor had made within a 15-minute time span.
“I called in earlier through 911 to L.A. and was transferred to Ventura County,” he said. “I'm not sure if that call went through or not."
He then asked the emergency workers to call him back. "I want to know if someone has gone there and that she's OK,” the doctor said.
The doctor believed the actress, 46, could possibly overdose on depression medication, according to TMZ.com.
But a rep for the actress downplayed the 911 call when contacted by Usmagazine.com Monday.
"Heather is fine," the rep told Us. "She never requested medical assistance and did not place a 911 call. Nor did anyone from her house call 911 or place a call requesting medical assistance.
"As previously stated by the Ventura County Fire Department, they responded to a call that had no merit and left almost immediately," the actress added. "No psychiatrist called 911 on Ms. Locklear’s behalf."
