I would have liked to see him, but wasn't able to make the trip I haven't read anywhere how he is doing on Broadway.

American Idol Taylor Hicks to Star in Grease on Broadway

 Jason Kempin/FilmMagic  American Idol season five winner Taylor Hicks has found himself a new role: “Teen Angel” on Broadway's Grease. Hicks, 31, will join the cast on June 6. “I am incredibly excited to be a part of one of my favorite musicals,” Hicks said in a press release. “The Soul Patrol’s gonna invade Broadway!” (Soul Patrol was his fans' nickname for Hicks during the show. See what other Idols are up to.) The Birmingham, Alabama native's single "Do I Make You Proud" debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart and was certified gold shortly after his Idol win. His 2006 album "Taylor Hicks" went platinum and debuted at No. 2 on the Billboard 200 charts. Hicks isn't the only Hollywood star to hit the Great White Way. Yes!!! I have attended four concerts of Taylor Hicks during his first tour and he is magnificent live! I would love to see Taylor in Grease this summer....

Taylor is redefining the role of Teen Angel with a refreshing, energetic, and completely exciting interpretation. From the costume to the addition of the harmonica, Hicks is bringing a depth to this character never before imagined. That's what an "artist" does. He's the real deal when it comes to talent and entertainment. EVERYONE should put down what they're doing this summer and add "Grease" to their summer "to do" list. His run on "Grease" will not be topped.

I already paid to see Taylor on Broadway! I'm flying across the county just to see him in August. I can't wait. He's an amazing performer and the cast members are going to love him. He's real. Oh, and he just happens to be gorgeous too.

Of course I would pay to see Taylor in Grease, not only the price of tickets but travel expenses, etc. I know of some coming from overseas. Taylor is worth the expense. He had definitely been doing 'something', two great, very successful tours and I am impressed with the people hes working with for the new cd. I don't have to see him to appreciate him tho, my car is stuffed full of his music, his cd and a ton of pre AI stuff. I will guarantee you, he doesn't look 40.

I'm so sad that I'm going to be in New York in October for some Broadway and will miss Taylor. I'd certainly pay to see him. I have already done so many times. I have my fingers crossed that he will be extended through October!!

Would I pay to see Taylor Hicks on Broadway?...YOU BET I WOULD. I have tickets for June 6th, his opening night. I also bought tickets for three performances in July, August and September. So will I pay to see Taylor.. Anyway I can, he's a fabulous performer with a fantastic voice and stage persona. I've seen him in concert and he's one of the best performer / entertainers I've ever seen on stage, he'll rock their house! Break a leg Taylor!

Taylor always puts 100% in all he attemps and people will be surprised because "LIVE" Taylor is a lot different then American Idol Taylor and they will enjoy every moment. I will be in NYC to see him in Grease on June 18 and 19th. Also to repeat the fanbase is strong and will be hitting Browday full force!!!! GO SOUL PATROL!

Have seen Taylor in many concert venues. Can't wait to see him in Grease. Have tickets for a June performance. Great anniversary present!! My husband and I appreciate his work as an artist and an entertainer. He always works so hard to please his audience. Hope this engagement opens up other doors for his career!!
