Amy Winehouse’s mother, Janis, is prepping for the worst for her troubled daughter.
“I've already come to terms with her dead,” she said in a startling interview in Sunday’s The Mirror. “I’ve steeled myself to ask her what ground she wants to be buried in, which cemetery. Because the drugs will get her if she stays on this road.”
Winehouse, 24, checked into rehab last Thursday after British tabloid The Sun released a video of her apparently using a crack pipe.
“I've known for a long time that my daughter has problems,” Janis said. “But seeing it on screen rammed it home. I realize my daughter could be dead within the year.”
Janis said her daughter will be honored at next month’s Grammys, “but part of me thinks she won't be alive by then.
“I look at Heath Ledger and Britney. She's on their path.
“It's like watching a car crash - this person throwing all these gifts away".

So reguardless of weather she has looks or talent, she is still a woman. a bleeding, breathing, feeling, human being. dont we all deserve a chance to live life without numbing ourselves with drugs? I think its great she went to rehab. im a recovering drug addict myself and i havent used a drug or drink in ten months. im only 21 and im greatful. and i can appreciate things in life that some of you a**holes apparently cannot. good for you amy, your on the right path. and for all you haters.. just to let you know i cant stand her music or her attitude but like i said shes still freakin human. leave her alone!!
