EXCLUSIVE: Marc Anthony: “I’m Excited to Be a Daddy!”

 Theo Wargo/WireImage.com Jennifer Lopez and Marc Anthony’s twins are due any day and the couple couldn’t be more thrilled. “I’m excited to be a daddy!” Anthony, 39, told Usmagazine.com at the Marchesa Fall 2008 show Wednesday. “What’s not to be excited about?” Lopez, 38, was equally excited about the Marchesa dress she got to wear to the show. “We found one that fit!” she gushed to Us, adding that the designer “knew kind of how big I was. I was like, ‘I want to come to the presentation.’ She was like, ‘OK,’ and sends a dress over. “For the size I am right now, I mean it’s just still kind of slim through the front — which is crazy!” Lopez said of the frock. “I tried on some things, and some things just make you look like you’re wearing a tent. It’s very cute. And it has pockets and the whole thing!” Of her sky-high heels, Lopez said: “These shoes are hard to walk in — it doesn’t matter if you’re pregnant or not!” Later that night, the pair hit up Madonna and Gucci’s “A Night to Benefit Raising Malawi and UNICEF" in NYC, where Lopez told Us, “I’m very happy” being pregnant. “I’m feeling pretty good!” she told Us. Lopez’s father recently confirmed the two are expecting twins. "They are twins, yes," David Lopez said on TeleFutura's "Escandalo TV" program, adding that his sister had twins. OK, last I heard Marc was already a father with his EX wife, OR doesn't he count those kids. You never see him with his other kids. As for the children yet to be born, I sure hope they look like her and not Marc. He is the skinniest, bony little troll I have ever seen. He left his last wife, even though they had kids and I think she was preggers too when he left. I know they seem so happy and so in love, but give it time, he'll probably end up doing the same thing to Jen. Once a cheat, always a cheat. Best wishes to you Jen!!!

Suze, I'm a teacher and I've been around both children with Aspbergers and autism. I don't think Travolta needs to parade his son around, no; in fact, I admire celebrities who want their privacy. I do however, find it hypocritical that he and his wife heap praise on their daughter and do not discuss their son. That to me is wrong. I'm not asking them to be advocates for autism, but being in the public eye, they chose to live their life in a fishbowl. If it makes one more parent of a child with a disability/special needs/etc feel like they are not alone, I do not know why celebrities feel that they have to appear "perfect" all the time.
