I'm blown away by the presumptuous attitude of people.

Madonna was trying to do a nice thing. Clearly Gerard Butler was aware of this, as he gave the b12 shot a try. As for painting Madonna as a syringe wielding madwoman...seriously? I could be wrong, but from where I'm standing Gerard Butler appears to be a grown-ass man, who is perfectly capable of stopping even a ripped lady like Madonna from shooting him in the behind if he, in fact, objected to it. I doubt the King of Sparta was afraid of the skinny pop singer.
On the flipside, painting Madonna as the messiah of women's rights is patently ludicrous. I respect her attitude of refusing to apologize for being a strong, opinionated, highly sexed woman- but she's hardly the first or only one on the planet. The comments canonizing her were obviously made by a teenager who failed history. Give the kid a break.
Two more things and I'll shut up- 1. seriously, people, lighten up. Celebrities are people, just people with really cool jobs. Gerard Butler clearly told that story because he thought it was funny. The end. It just isn't that deep. 2. Spell check is your friend. Use it. Love it. Better yet, get a dictionary.

Madonna is now a leader in women's liberation? To believe that is to be about as ignorant and benighted as she is. Madonna had nothing to do with women coming out of their shell as milli-mouthed, house marms. The movement to break that mold happened DECADES before Madonna even existed. By the time Madonna was famous women's liberation was already a movement said and done, women already were working in the same jobs and receiving the same types of college education as men! It is just like a small minded, duncey hardcore Madonna fan to think she was the soul and cell of women's so called liberation! I don't credit Madonna for the fact that I have the right to vote, drive a car, go to school and to try to embark on the same career path as a man! She isn't the reason I am free from sexual harassment discrimination! That is so asinine and so insolent to even think Madonna had a thing to do with that! In fact, in my opinion Madonna has done more to HURT women's image and to set us back. The way she acts only proves that she has no self-respect, dignity or indentity and that she hops from fad to fad. Clearly if you are a young woman and believe Madonna is the source and epitome of your freedom as a woman you have a very misguided and unenlightened view on women's and social history. Moving on, I agree with everyone that said NO ONE unless they are a medically trained person in a medical setting, or have a legitimate medical reason to take injectable medications, should be giving injections to anyone for any reason. There are no words to describe how utterly obtuse and moronic that is. We all know the risk and dangers of that! One would one think someone like Madonna would be the last person to encourage such idiocy. With her self claimed humantarian causes and concerns for the world. I mean where did she get the needle for it? Was it use once and destroy? Where did she dispose of it? Did she wash her hands? Wear gloves? Take precautions against body fluid?

Madonna is the epitome of all MUSIC.

I find it disturbing. No one should be injecting another with needles. I am a nurse, and there are a very limited number of situations in which someone needs to inject themselves with anything. Insulin for Diabetes comes to mind. Other than a situation like that, I find it appalling, ignorant, and unsanitary. Just Say NO to Madonna!

I've always gotten B-12 shots in the arm by a Dr. They do boost my energy, tho. Seems like Madonna just wants to see some ass!
