For those of you "Inquiring Minds" who are doubting the stories of the US Weekly contestants- these are 3 strong couple who happen to love each other a lot. I think any of them deserved to win- but Courtney and Gary did have the most votes and their story is very inspirational. I can't speak about or verify whether Nae really met her fiance on the subway or if Tammy was actually from the projects, although I believe and am moved by their stories. I was most moved by Courtney's story- which can be verified with a quick Google search- here's a link to a letter she wrote on the Moffitt website, long before any wedding contest came about, thanking her doctors for her excellent treatment.

I agree with inquiring mind that some of the life experiences of the contestants seem to be exaggerated. If you were facing huge financial debt and life threatening medical problems, how would you have time, energy and money to fly to Jamaica to get engaged?

In reading the 3 stories, I find Tammy & Mike’s to be the most genuine and compelling. Two hard working kids from very humble beginnings, that truly need to win the contest to afford a wedding. It is evident that family is important to them – and that is as important in a wedding celebration as cake (not cupcakes) and all the other arrangements. Imagine their families being able to participate in such a wonderful wedding – it would truly be a gift to the entire family – and something that they would not experience if not for The Wedding Channel and US Magazine. It is refreshing to see a couple that is not so "me" oriented! I think that Tammy’s ideas could result in a truly fabulous and elegant event, with the help of The Wedding Channel and US Magazine. These kids are most deserving!

Are the couples' stories verified by the judges? Some of the trials and tribulations of the finalists seem to be quite far-fetched and the timeframes don't make sense, especially if the circumstances were as catastrophic as the ones presented to the reader. I would hate to think someone would exaggerate their own experience and trivialize serious issues, just to win a contest. Several of my friends following this contest have had similar comments and concerns. Inquiring minds want to know!

I think Tammy has the right ideas. This is an event to remember, so those few standout items like the shoes and polka dots will mark the occasion nicely. You can tell that this couple has put a lot of thought into their plans and it seems like they would be grateful to win. Best of luck.

I don't understand the cupcakes and French fries??? This is a wedding, not a kid's birthday party. Everyone likes fun, but this way off the mark. It is an insult to the guests. It also doesn't say '$100,000 wedding', cupcakes and fries say 'quickie Vegas wedding'. And as they say-what happens in Vegas stays in Vegas-for a reason! No to cupcakes and fries. I used to work in wedding cateringindustry-believe me, people remember the cake. The black and white cake with a punch of pink is great. Fun and sophisticated. Good for you, Tammy!

WTF is with orange, lime green and yellow? seriously...at a wedding? and cupcakes, missing out on birthday parties and feeling old are we? tell me someone wants a pinata next too please! The idea of a classy tier cake with a touch of spunk is the best, the same with the gown-classy and a punch of pink with the shoes-perfect. Will the men in the wedding party be donning any pink-and what are there responses?? :)

At first it was hard to decide who to vote for. Reading through the top 20, I related most to Tammy's story. Not all children grow up dreaming of a huge extravagant wedding. It's just not where they are (I totally related to the story) They seemed to have been waiting to find eachother and I enjoyed that piece to. Tammy's story of lifes ups and downs all rolled up into a few paragraphs was so like many people we know.SO I voted for them..everyday and hoped they'd make it. I was so excited to see that they made the top three. just wanted to write to wish them luck and let them know that there are people out there hoping for a win for them. I don't know them personally. I just feel like the have a good story to tell and would love to see them make it. PS.Pink shoes how "wicked" awesome is that.

I must agree that no one remembers what was eaten at a wedding, but I do think people would remember the pink shoes on a bride. What a statement - awesome! No to cupcakes and yes to polka dots.

The idea of a simple formal dress with a splash of color with the shoes is a great idea. It's a way for the bride to bring in the color of her wedding together by adding a personal touch in a special way. Good luck you two!

I think that Tammy's ideas are the best by far. They're original, yet elegant. Who wants to go to a wedding and not be served cake? Also, why would anyone vote for a bride who hasn't even carefully planned her wedding? I love the idea of pink shoes! Go Tammy! Can't wait to taste the cake.
