FACEBOOKMy family saw this movie opening weekend and we were all entranced! We went at an off time that should have been slow and went early, but the theater was packed and we had to sit in the first row, whick I don't usually like. I never noticed though, because the movie was so interesting. Originally, my hubby and I though RDjr was on odd choice, and was concerned more success would spell trouble for him. After seeing what a awesome job he did and the physical transformation he made, I can think of no one else as Tony Stark, now. He was spoke very clear as a fast talking, quick witted Tony Stark. You have to be on your game for that kind of acting. Bravo Robert and the people who took a chance on him. I hope he's back, and clean, for good, because we always enjoyed his movies, it was the life choices that were so disappointing. BTW, everyone from the young girls to the "know everything about the comic stories Teen boys", to the grown ups in my family (and my sister's)-13 in all, loved this movie, and that's saying something!

Let the summer blockbuster season begin.
Iron Man — starring Robert Downey Jr. and Gwyneth Paltrow — earned $104.2 million at the box office this weekend (including a Thursday night preview), claiming the No. 1 spot. (Check out the shoes Paltrow wore at the movie's premiere here.)
Combined with international sales, Iron Man earned $201 million — the highest of Downey Jr's. career.
It was the best weekend opening for a non-sequel since Spider-Man — which made $114.8 million on the same weekend in 2002 — and the 10th best opening of all time.
Moviegoers still craved a little McDreamy: Patrick Dempsey's chick flick, Made of Honor, raked in $15.5 million, landing at No. 2.
No. 3? The Tina Fey-Amy Poehler's comedy Baby Mama, which earned $10.3 million. (It was No. 1 last week.)
Rounding out the top 5: Forgetting Sarah Marshall, which made $6.13 million, and Harold and Kumar Escape from Guantanamo Bay, at $6.02 million.

hey greenmoe it's just a movie so why do u care about global warming ????? If you reaally care for global warming why did you go and watch the movie. your poluting the air by driving there duhhhh... anyways it was a great movie and I loved it.

My husband and I went to see Iron Man and it was...awesome!!! I didn't expect it to be sooooooo goooood!! R. Downey Jr is now on my favorite actors list!! He did a great job!! LUV LUV LUV this movie!!!!!!!!!!!!! PS Yeah, we saw the clip with Sam Jackson after the credits!!! YEAH BABY!!
I am so angry that Ironman does not use biofuels for his rocket shoes. He should ride a bike rather than fly because he is causing global warming.

I think Braveheart was a much better movie and that Mel Gibson is the best actor alive and he would have been a far better Iron Man! I am boycotting all movies that dont have Mel Gibson in them or directing them!!! GOD BLESS MEL GIBSON!!!!!
Iron man sucks big
I saw this movie last night and it is now one of my favorites!! Next to 300 and Armagedeon! This movie will definately have a spot in my DVD collection when it comes out also, I can watch this again! Two huge thumbs up!! Go see it for yourself, worth it!
Okay i saw Ironman and it was okay i felt it could had been better. I wonder if The Incredible Hulk will probe be better than Ironman.
Well of course IronMan did so well...pretty much everything has sucked at the box office this year...this is probably the first film really worth watching.
Iron Man was so AWESOME!!! It was mind blowing.. I enjoyed every minute of it.. I can't wait for the sequel.

saw it this weekend i wasn't expecting it to be good but i think they knew to wait until word spread and people had seen it not over kill with promotions. awesome movie overall & i'm glad to see that some people who had dying careers can still make an awesome movie!!!
Saw Iron Man yesterday and it was FANTASTIC. I cannot wait for Iron Man II to come out!! Robert Downey was perfect for this character.
Havent seening it yet but getting plenty of good review's. I cant wait to get to see it and enjoy another classic hero on the big screen.
Saw Iron Man on Sunday and LOVED it! A well done adapation for the screen. Robert Downey Jr., Gwyneth Paltrow, Jeff Bridges and Terrence Howard all gave stellar performances. Did everyone who went to see the film this weekend stay till the very end? If you did, you were treated to a scene with Robert Downey Jr and Samuel L. Jackson. No doubt a teaser for the sequel. I can't wait!
Robert Downey, Jr. has always been a favorite of mine. I'm glad to see he is getting his life back together.
Congrats to Iron Man for making the most money this past weekend, etc. and to all the movies that made a lot of money, too, congrats, etc.

I went to see IRON MAN this weekend and it was unbelievably awesome!! I would go and see it again. It was the best super hero movie I have ever seen. Robert Downey JR is great in it and he was super funny. He made the movie. I hope very much that they make more IRON MAN movies and all of the stars of the movie come back. 10 out of 10!!! Great movie!!!
