As Usmagazine.com first reported, Jennifer Aniston surprised contestants when she appeared on Sunday's season finale of Oprah's Big Give.
After thanking each of the seven contestants for their work and awarding them their cash gifts of $10,000, she caused mouths to drop even more when she declared, "That just felt too good. I personally would like to triple it. So we're going to go $30,000. Guys, thank you for doing this and inspiring everybody." (Winner Stephen Paletta took home the $1 million prize for completing a giveaway challenge with zero funds. He will keep half the money and donate the rest to charity.)
(According to Forbes, Aniston earned $14 million in 2007. On The Oprah Winfrey Show last month, Drew Barrymore gave away $1 million to the United Nations World Food Programme to help feed children in Africa, and Simon Cowell paid off a $162,000 mortgage to a family with a three-year-old daughter with cancer.)
Tell Us: Who is more charitable: Jen or Angelina?

When Brad and angelina decide to help out charitable causes by moving away or just showing up in Africia, looking sad in front of some orphans and then claiming one for their own,and actually handing over a milion dollars of their own money each to a charity of their choice,for no other reason than they just felt like it and maybe to get people to notice and take note "then thats news" You got to love Brad's logic between him and Angelina they'll literally stop at nothing to protect the privacy of their children,whether they're sending the secret service into retrieve stolen cameras,continually getting the photographers arrested or watching their body guards choke members of the press.However, Just as Brad And Angelina aren't above wh*ring their children out for charity.Seriously, If it wasn't for all the photo-shoots,global disruption and baby-having they did together, we wouldn't even suspect that Brad and Angelina were a couple.

I agree Angelina has a huge fan base and always will! BTW: AJ gave US $4 million plus in 2006, not last year, to the Jolie-Pitt Foundation, which was only in operation for 6 months and spent over 25% of their assets -- admirable!!! It doesn't say anything about what AJ (or Brad) gave personally or through their individual trusts, production companies or as individuals.

I truly believe that their is only one Angie fan on this site and they post over and over again. Jennifer's fan base is huge and she is greatly loved by people. I don't care if you are a fan of Angie's Sadam Hussein had many admires as did Charles Manson, Warren Jeffs etc. So why shouldn't this phoney have her followers.

Anonymous hater and cheap: Why are you comparing JA and AJ? They are different people that live very different lives. I think both women are nice decent people that are trying their best to work in the causes that inspire them. Are you going to compare everything Jen does with Angie or vice versa? Why? What does that accomplish? Some people say Jen does not give enough money (even though no one really knows how much she has donated to St. Judes, D. Bullosa illness or any other charities). Some people say that Angie helps foreign nations but does not do a lot for the people in the US even though a great portion of her money comes from the US. Both are accused of doing charity for PR reasons. What matters is that Jen's participation in fund raising, Angie's participation in bringing awareness to UN issues and both women's monetary donations help a lot of people. I am sure a mother with a child sick with cancer or refugees suffering all appreciate the help they receive. I think Angie and Jen would both appreciate fans stopping the comparisons and instead focus on their work both on screen and off.

on point you are all forgetting, jennifer said nothing about angie. she never said or acted like she was trying to be better then her. she never said she was more charitable!!!! she did a good deed that had nothing to do with angie and usweekly decieded to turn it in to a comparison. they wanted you all to fight and trash them both. when the truth is a good deed is a good deed no matter the amount and im sure the people appreciated the money they were given all the same.

ok, this wasnt for charity people, it was a prize for the people who were in the contest. but just because you dont like jennifer it doesnt mean you can think shes not doing something good. shes not trying to act like shes better than angie she did something that had absolutely nothing to do with her. us weekly brought up the question, not jennifer. but all of you people that are hating on jennifer aren't realizing that on all of the other pages she has fans standing up for her. people love her and people love angie too, its time to stop comparing them. and you all need to stop believing everything you read, she never asked her freinds to bad mouth angie and her kids. she has never said anything bad about her. she has moved on. and she is not trying to act like she is better then agnie or like she if giving more. this had nothing to do with her!!

Why compare the two at all?Angelina gave away $4 million last year, while Jen gave away $200,000.Angelina is the real deal--she's been putting herself in harm's way for 8 yrs + while we've only seen Jen step up her charity work recently.And,even that has been paltry.She has $110 million to her name!Even Drew Barrymore (who has 20 million to her name) gave MORE.Angelina is working to save the world, while Jen is working on the perfect tan.

Of course Brad loves Angie. It just kills me when I read some poster stating that Brad doesn't love Angie. Honestly -- it's like one of the funniest things ever. Brad has said Angie is his "great love" and that he has only her in his sights. Angie did say they don't go around saying I love you all the time, they show each other by their actions. Talk is cheap, and actions speak louder. If you say anything, even I love you, over and over and don't back it up with actions, it means nothing. Brad's actions towards Angie speak volumes.
