Katie Holmes says she’s cool if her daughter Suri wants to follow in her footsteps.
"She’s so smart and she's already talking a lot," the Mad Money star told David Letterman last night. "She's already a wonderful artist. If she wants to [act], great. If she doesn't, OK."
She said the 21-month-old is already well-versed to the hectic Hollywood lifestyle.
"She goes to sleep pretty late because we go to sleep late," Holmes, an Us Weekly style winner, said. "[She goes to sleep] around 11 p.m. and [wakes up] about 9 a.m."
Holmes called motherhood "magical" and said when Suri takes naps she’ll get close and "stare and kind of kiss her and see if maybe she’ll wake up."
Holmes also opened up about running the New York Marathon last November.
"I loved it. It was very hard, but I loved seeing New York City that way," said Holmes, who finished the 26.2-mile race in 5 hours, 29 minutes and 58 seconds. "Tom and Suri met me at mile 18, and I really wanted to get in the car at that moment. I really did," she says. "Luckily, they pushed me through."
What else helped?
"I listened to Kanye West’s 'Stronger' and it helped," she said.

Finally, when the hospital forcibly ripped those twins away from her, it was clearly the signs and symptoms of her documented problems with both drugs and alcohol. Hopefully her file has been sent over to the Prosecutor’s office for review for possible criminal charges.”

The Katie Holmes today is not the Kate Holmes of a few years ago. The transformation is just creepy. Everything that comes out of her mouth seems so scripted. She's extemely careful of everything she's saying. There's no spontenaity. Notice how she kept asking David questions?? It was to take the attention off of her. I keep wondering what her Catholic parents are really thinking of this whole thing.

No hands-on mother kisses a sleeping baby to wake it up. We are too tired. I suggest Holmes kick out the weirdo babysitters and watch the kid herself. Also, no baby is a mature woman or a mature artist. They are a DAUGHTER and a baby daughter at all. If Holmes thinks she is normal, NEWS FLASH, you are abnormal and so is your husband. I really don't want to jump on the bandwagon and say she's changed but...she has. She seems to be kind of rolling her eyes at him through the whole thing. He did a good job trying to squeeze some laughter out of her but...she doesn't seem funny or warm. And she was the cutest thing ever before. Maybe all the media attention judging her has taken a toll on her. But either way, she's different. And just colder it seems.

She was on GMA, Live with Regis & Kelly and then did David LEtterman. She said the SAME script on all three shows and totally pimped Kanye West "stronger" song. What is up with that? Are they reeling the grieving son into their cult? Check out her interview on David Letterman right after Batman debuted. She is flirty, funny and bubbly. You can see it on YouTube. The very things that probably attracted Cruise to her have been sucked out of her. Now she leans in, looks all intense and psycho like Tom and throws out Scientolo babble like "awareness" "Communicate" and "magical". Be real girl!
