Despite her talent, it's a shame DWTS invited and allowed Kristi to join the show. She has already trained in dancing,* has developed a professional dancer's control of her body, can do multiple free spins effortlessly on or off the ice, while others trying to compete with her had little or no experience with ballroom dance. For the show she did have to learn some skills (footwork, certain moves, expression) but that does not compare with the challenge to someone starting from scratch. Of course having such a star was a great draw for the show, but, while appreciating her performances, I felt it was a sellout.

* For example, dance coach Julius Kaiser has had the Boston Skating Club as his base of operations and trained figure skaters there.

Kristi and Mario are currently the best dancers. Kristi is as graceful on the dance floor as she is on the ice, she just has it!!! Mario really surprised me, he's so young I would never never have thought he would seem to enjoy ballroom dancing like he does--that beautiful smile sure doesn't hurt.

Kristi & Mark all the way, skating on ice is nothing like ballroom dancing, the only advantage she has is she is used to long hours of work to obtain her goal, I think Mario is the best of the men but they were all entertaining and that is what it is all about. Why do they say a man and a woman will be eliminated? I thought it was all about the votes!

I loved Kristi and Mark's foxtrot.

I am sick and tired of people getting on celebrities for having prior experience or exposure to dance.

I hope Kristi makes it thru to the finals with Mario. And hope she isn't booted off to early like Sabrina- who deserved to win.

Its about the best dancer - people. Stop hating!!

This didn't realize surprise me....she has the talent and Mark is her partner. However, we all thought he and Sabrina would take it all and look what happened. I wish them the best and hope that they do win.
