Olympic gold medalist Kristi Yamaguchi proved that she has the moves on and off the ice on last night's Dancing With the Stars.

The figure skater scored 27 out of 30 points for her foxtrot, prompting judge Bruno Toniolo to declare it one of the best performances he’d seen in the first round.

“I think I did good,” Yamaguchi, who practiced eight-hours-a-day for four weeks, told Usmagazine.com backstage.

"Not knowing how you are going to feel and how the first dance is going to go ... it was just terrifying!" she added.

Priscilla Presley, who performed the foxtrot, came in second with 24 points.

"We have a standard that we have to live off of — we got three 8’s!" Presley told Us. "We have to get back into the studio tomorrow and really go for it!"

Deaf Marlee Matlin, who also danced the cha-cha, ended up with 22 points, while American Pie actress Shannon Elizabeth scored 21 out of 30 on her cha-cha.

“I will have a lot to work on,” Elizabeth admitted to Us.

Added her partner Derek Hough, “She’s got a lot of legs and a lot to control.”

Broadway star Marissa Jaret Winokur (read her exclusive diary here) scored 18 for her cha-cha.

Tennis champ Monica Seles nabbed a 15 on her foxtrot.
