I just finished reading the book and adored it. Lynne admits in the book that like any human, shes made mistakes in raising her children but she won't take the blame for everything. When I first picked up the book and decided to read it, I thought there would be more insight to her children and their lives but a good chunk of the book seemed to be about her :-s I understand her life has been difficult but shes not the one people wanna read about.....I dunno....Good book anyways

I can't wait till the book comes out I don't think what Lynne Spears did was right. I also think people should back the hell off of Britney & Jamie Lynn Spears, there excellent role models for women. Screw all the haters.

She took some time off in light of Britney's breakdown & jamie lynn's pregnancy because she needed to take care of her family! That's BULLS*#T! She just wanted to be able to include those situations in the book! She knew that would be the only way to get people interested (by claiming to tell the truth about it!). If she was a good Mom she wouldn't talk about that in the book, she wouldn't even write the book! As if it would be helpful to anyone; yeah so many of us can relate to having 2 famous daughters & being in the tabliods. Besides, what could she possibly have to say that could help anyone? If she's so wise then why didn't her daughters turn out better. Although Britney can't help if she has a mental illness, but she could've taught Jamie lynn to use birth control! Her daughters need to tell her to get lost!

I think she should not have written a book about her daughters life. This is personal and does not need to be publizided. Why doesn't she just be a mom and not worry about making money of her kids so much. Why doesn't she get a job and earn her own monies. Atleast, Mr.Spears works, and earns his own monies. Sure he received money for looking after Britney but he got her back on track and probablly saved her life, the mother well-nothing. Why doesn't Britney write a book about her mom...Time for Lynn to grow up she is a Grandma.

Lynne is the best mom she can be given the situation. Britney's HUGELY famous. Everyone on the planet knew Britney's name by the time she was 17. SHE wanted this. Jamie Lynn wanted this, initially. Their parents didn't make them. They didn't stop them, but they didn't make them. They couldn't possibly foresee how much fame was going to screw up their kids. And in Britney's case, I think it's mental health issues that can't solely be blamed on fame. I would NEVER judge someone else's parenting. If you weren't there, you don't know how it unraveled. All I have seen from Lynne when she is with her kids is positivity. I don't think it's a bad idea to write a book. She should set the record straight. She has the right to tell the truth amidst the rumors she's constantly dealing with. Lynne still lives in Kentwood, she just happens to have a nicer house and drive nicer cars. So what? It would be weird for the parents of Britney Spears to be living in a little cottage. Britney couldn't have reached her level of success without her mom helping her when she was young. Plenty of parents take their children to auditions, it doesn't mean they're using them as their cash cow. Sometimes the kids actually want it themselves. I did.

Lynne Spears, get a nine to five! Stop using your children. You are suppose to be a role model, not the other way around. If you spent more time on parenting, than spending that time on how to make money off your childrens F*#ck ups, your family might have a fighting chance. You live in a huge house and drive the nice cars, but have NO TALENT OR JOB OF YOUR OWN! WAKE UP!! Be a parent, not a f*#ck like them. You are a horrible mother! Get a life of your on!

For a mother to write a book like this is disgusting. I see it as nothing more than damage control so her kids can continue to earn money and keep her in the lifestyle she has become accustom to. What's to say it will tell the truth? Remember that guy who wrote a book about getting off drugs and Oprah backed it and made it a bestseller? It was all lies! Buying this book will send a wrong message to Lynn and the rest of the family. They should disappear and take care of their personal problems in private. Face it…Brit and Jamie Lynn aren’t that talented anyway!

What a terrible thing to do to your daughter. People should not buy her book, read it in the library if you need to read it or buy one and pass it around if you must. They made money off both their daughters.
