Marissa Jaret Winokur is hanging up her cha cha shoes after being eliminated Tuesday night's Dancing With the Stars.
"To make it to the final four and to get 9 [scores] from [judge] Len [Goodman]…I have accomplished more than I can imagine!" she tells Usmagazine.com.

The Tony-award winner and her professional partner Tony Dovolani were in last place going into the semifinal results show — with just 52 points out of 60. On Monday's show, they earned 26 points each for their quickstep and rumba.
So what will Jaret Winokur be doing now that she's not rehearsing for the show?
Getting ready for the baby she and her King of the Hill writer hubby Judah Miller are expecting via a surrogate!
"My poor son will have to watch all those videos and I will be like, 'This is what I was doing while you were cooking!'" Jaret Winokur jokes.
The mom-to-be is also skipping the DWTS tour.
"You can't be on tour with a baby!" she says.
May 19 is the final dance-off between finalists Jason Taylor, Kristi Yamaguchi and Cristian de la Fuente.
A champ will be named the next night in a show that will feature a performance by Usher and all the stars who were already voted off this season.

I mean this in the nicest way possible, I think it was good that she was cut. I love her personality, but her dance ability was limited. It was inspiring to see her fight so hard to last that long, but she was not as good as some of the others that were voted off before her, like Shannon Elizabeth, the Gute, and Mario. In my opinion, she shouldn't have outlasted them. But I guess she had a bigger fan-base. Hats-off to her for making it this far, but I am happy with who is in the final three. She has a great personality and is great at what she does on Broadway. I don't know who I'm rooting for more, now. But it's a toss-up between Jason and Christian....probably Jason! ;-)

I'm sorry to hear Marissa & Tony got voted off DWTS, but I wanted to wish her & her husband, Judah Miller, good luck when their son, Zev, is born, etc.

Marissa seems to be a very real and nice person...unlike many on this board. She was fun to watch and made me smile and laugh. Her comment about "shakin what your mama gave you" even made Tom Bergeron smile! (Reminded me why she played Tracy Turnblad in Hairspray! :-) Marissa also helped me to like Tony, whom I thought was too intense and pretentious. I see him so much more differently, because of Marissa. He really showed some personality because of her. While she didn't win, she does have a Tony Award for Hairspray, a baby on the way, and a talk show in 2009. Marissa doesn't need that Mirror Ball; she's a winner already!

I never watch DWTS and don't get the appeal of the show. BUT I'm so glad that this gal is voted off because now maybe we won't have to see her picture splattered all over every website. She's not pretty - and it has nothing to do with her weight. She looks very stuck up ever time I see an image of her in a magazine or on TV. What a turn off.

I've been thin, fat and in-between. The only men who ever treated me like anything when I was 36-24-36 were slimes who only wanted to try to get me for ONE thing. Funny, even though I was built, they STILL tried to put me down so that I would have a low enough self-esteem to accommodate their wishes. What LOSERS!!!The only nasty things I heard of when I was fat were comments from those same type of losers I DEFINETELY didn't want to waste my time on when I was built. At a medium weight, you're STILL going to have those same LOSERS call you fat, yet you get to meet people who like you for you. My husband has seen me skinny, fat, and everywhere in between. He's been with me through life's changes like pregnancies, and all of that and STILL considers me his one, true love. A winner looks at the whole package, because with time, ALL people will change. HE'S the WINNER and a WEINER like 11:17 am is not worth ANY ladies' time. Besides, Mr. WEINER will probably be bald and fat, himself in a few short years--time has a way of doing that to people like him --HAHAHAHA.

She may be over weight but she does have dance training and such after being on Broadway so far her to do this well is not a surpirse and personally I think the only reason she isn't in the final 3 is because of sympathy votes from the stupid arse who is continuing to dance instead of taking care of his arm. Funny thing - the majority of Americans are overweight. And when someone who looks more like the "regular Jane" than the bulimic, pencil thin types finally gets on a show like "Dancing With the Stars", she is condemed and berated worse than Heather Mills McCartney -- a true NON-celebrity famous only for marrying a former Beatle. Are we as a society that ashamed of ourselves that we want to kill it, cut it down, etc.?The dancing overall on DWTS has been somewaht uninspired. Marissa did a FINE JOB -- CONGRATS to Marissa -- the everywoman...

Im so happy for Marissa, she has done so well with her dancing. I was very surprised that she lasted this long but Im happy that she feels she has accomplished so much. If you look at what she has been threw this past couple years I think it is a wonderful accomplishment.
