Brooke is very likeable and great at certain songs that complement her voice and range, yet really shaky/pitchy at others. She has a nice voice that suits her well in a limited space. That is why I think she will do well in the future, but is not the next AI. David A is difficult to watch and seems disingenuous. I honestly do not like the sound of his voice. Jason -- how did he stay in so far???? Syesha is super talented, but more in a Broadway than AI style. David Cook can sing anything -- he has the makings of the next AI. I would buy his albums in a heartbeat.

Listening to Brooke's goodbye "performance", we can't believe this is AMERICAN IDOL! Never have we heard such poor quality singing during the 7 seasons of this show, including all the emotional farewell performances. She simply didn't belong there and should have left during hollywood week.

Brooke is a beautiful girl and a great singer. I hated to see her go, but she just isn't cut out to be the American Idol. I HOPE JASON GOES NEXT!!!!!!! I'm tired of his singing and his dreads. I hated it that Brooke got sent home. She was one of my favorites. She has a bubbly personality and is a really good singer when she stays within her style. It should have been Jason, but he has too many teeny boppers voting for him. I thought he was awful. Brooke will become one of the big stars out of this group.

I liked Brooke's voice but didn't feel it was as strong as a couple of the other contestants. I realize it was a disappointment for her last night, but I think also the drama was a bit much. As for Jason, I like his voice, but he seems to be feeling a little too laid back and tired for this competition! At this point, I really would like to see David Cook take it. He is very talented and seems to be able to sing anything they give him. I do think some of the others, including a couple that are already gone will be given a well deserved contract. Just because they've been voted off doesn't mean they can't have a singing career if they really want it bad enough!!!
