And then there were 10.

Amanda Overmyer, the rocker with streaked hair from Mulberry, Indiana, was voted off American Idol last night.

After hearing the results, the southern-style singer, 23 — who had performed the Beatles' "Back in the U.S.S.R." — told Ryan Seacrest: “It's been a run. ... No. 11 out of all them people is more than I could expect.” (Click here to see Overmeyer's baby photo.)

Also nearly sent home packing: Carly Smithson, 24, and Kristy Lee Cook, 24, who has been in the bottom three for weeks.

Former contestant Kellie Pickler performed on the live show last night.

Dolly Parton, Mariah Carey, Andrew Lloyd Webber and Neil Diamond were named upcoming celeb mentors on the show.
