Solange is an amazing woman who turned her life around, unlike many of the celeberities out there she is not a party animal she cares about her family and her son[who by the way is super cute] I think when she found out she was pregnant she didn't realize what she was getting herself into but, now if you see a picture of her with her son he is her world. Julez is what she really cares about I found a recant interview with Solange where she says "I found the love of my life, and that is my son Julez"
As long as Jamie Lynn takes Solanges advice i think she will be just as amazing at being a mother as Solange

Solange Knowles knows the challenge of being a famous teen mother.
Knowles, now 21, welcomed son Daniel in 2004 at the age of 18 (she split with husband, former college football player Daniel Smith, after the baby was born).
"I'm sure a lot of people perceived that I was gonna be a young, irresponsible mom," Knowles told Usmagazine.com during a recent visit.
But Knowles pointed out, "I think that there are some moms who are 35 who are just as irresponsible."
What advice does she have for the 17-year-old mom-to-be Jamie Lynn Spears?
"You just have to make the best decisions for you," Knowles said. "You have to decide what's best for you.
"Who are we to say what's right and wrong for a person?"
To focus on raising her son, Knowles said she "moved to the country for a year" without any nannies or babysitters.
"My parents lived on a whole opposite part of the world," she said. "My son has been my focus ever since the day he was born."
"He's been the light of my life," she added, "the inspiration behind everything."

These two teenagers and the media are glorifying teen pregnancy. No we are not perfect, but the issue is not that she is pregnant, or that she is a teen. The issue is that Nickelodeon, and the tabloids continue to parade her in the media making her more of an icon and celebrity. I wasn't an angel when I was young, but I also didnt sell my story for a million dollars to a magazine! That's NOT OK!
This is promoting teen pregnancy instead of condeming it! Below is a copy of an email I sent today to Viacom regarding Britney Jr.
Reg: Zoey 101
I am sure you have received tons of email regarding Zoey and this definitely won’t be the last. I am outraged at the fact that Zoey 101 is going to still be aired, and even more so at the fact that a new season is now in production. I watched Nickelodeon when I was a child and the issue of teen pregnancy wasn't even thought about. There weren't even kids dating on any of these shows, if I recall. I am now a married 32 year old mother of a 4 year old girl. She doesn't watch Zoey, but see's commercials for the new "Chasing Zoey". Yes we are in the new millennium, and teen pregnancy is an issue. However for those family’s that choose the brand Nickelodeon, and Nick Jr., we expect not to have these topics bombarding our children. Regardless if it is written into the show, everyone in America knows because "Zoey" sold her story to a tabloid! Teen pregnancy should be talked about in school and by parents. Jamie Lynn Spears is a role model, and a celebrity, the same as President Clinton despite the fact that he was a good president, his affair still tarnished his own reputation along with the reputation of America. We treat our celebrities like royalty and scrutinize their every move. When Jamie Spears sold her story of being 16 and not only having sex, but also getting pregnant, she promoted herself, and teen pregnancy. At that point, Viacom should have seen that as a violation of your safety terms and conditions. By continuing to air Zoey 101 and promote her character, you as a company and her as an icon, are promoting teen pregnancy! If this show airs my family and my friends will never watch any of the Nick brands! I will also do my best to spread the word and continue to boycott it!
I really like that Solange had some good words to say to Jamie Lyn.
I really don't know why people make a big deal out of situations like this, because there are many other non celebs that have babies at a young age, and you don't see that all over the news.
So I hope Jamie Lyn take in consideration as what Solange is saying.
Solange is a really pretty woman.
Jamie Lyn will be a good parent she believes in herself and I feel she will end up having strong support around her.
Maybe a big problem with parents nowadays is this exact philosophy.."DO whats BEST for YOU"..It should be "Do Whats Best for the Child". When youre a mom, YOU is not even an equation. The public is not going to clap for her because she took on her responsibility like she should of. Thats whats expected. We give kudos to people who do what they are supposed to do in life and make excuses for the ones who dont. Solange is stepping up to her responsibilities, and it sounds like she enjoys it and that is wonderful..but please do not give advice to a young girl who is in the spotlight pretty regularly who may have the tendency to not do what is expected. Dont set the stage. Say goodluck and call it a day..
My only question is ..WHAT IS SOLANGE KNOWLES FAMOUS FOR EXCEPT GETTING PREGNANT AT 17 AND BEING BEYONCE S SISTER, IS THAT IT?
It's amazing how judgemental people are on these sites. I am a African American male and it sickens me to see some of the comments people made about the encouraging words Solange gave to Jamie. Do "you people" ever remember that we are NOT PERFECT and in order to judge someone you have to be GOD, and I really mean GOD- NOT GODLY OR SOME MADE UP PERTEND SUPERIOR PERSON THAT MANY PEOPLE THINK THEY ARE. Personally, I am proud of two women in the entertainment business give each other some words of encouragement instead of the normal "name calling". Congrats mom to be, and Solange you keep your head up.
Barack The Vote: Chicago Stand Up!
Everyone would like to know just what the F U C K kind of ignorant, jungle ape name is solange, anyway? It probably means expelled afterbirth of a black sow's snatch!
10:09pm: Why don't you take your own advice and don't judge? And don't shove your opinions about abortion down our throats. Your comment is full of hypocrisy.
While I agree it is not our place to judge, age does and will make a big difference in parenting. As a girl who got pregnant at 16, and I now have another child that was born when I was 26, I know how much a girl ages and matures through those years. A girl needs to experience different things for herself before she is taking care of another life. Of course there are going to be circumstances where a person does not have a choice in the matter (Jaime Lynn), but that is why some people are saying the things they are saying about teenage mothers. And for all of you that are ranting and raving your moral "views" (which this a ridiculous place to do it, your on a celebritiy gossip website), remember that adoption is an option also.
9:56 Mickey, you totally nailed it. They really need to all STFU.
wow still talking about abortion! for one its sick!! MURDER! nasty! im sorry if a woman's birth control fails or condom breaks so what are you people saying its ok! your full of it! Frankly i am a young mom and very proud! people said to me get one! i know people who have and wind up getting pregnant again after a month! ok dont have sex if you know what could happen! common sense.. ok umm last time i remember yes woman have the choice but its wrong and alot of girls and woman are abusing it! u wanna talk about choice arent u glad ur momma was pro life! oh wait ur here arent you! push ur beliefs on someone else cuz its thats how u feel thank about how u would feel if ur momma didnt want ur ignorant rear ends! AN AGE DOESNT MAKE YOU LESS OF A WOMAN AND LESS OF A MOTHER GET OFF THE GIRLS CASE AND LOOK INTO UR OWN NEIGHBOR HOOD. THEN JUDGE U TALK ABOUT GOD WELL GOD SAYS DONT JUDGE I HOPE ONE DAY WHEN U HAVE KIDS THEY JUDGE U AS MUCH AS U JUDGE A GIRL YOU DONT EVEN KNOW FOR HAVING A CHILD THAT SHE HAS CHOOSE TO TAKE CARE OF! YOU SICK PEOPLE NEED A LIFE!
Come on,Jamie Lynn Spears.I believe you could make a good mom. just like Solange Knowles.by the way, i just saw Solange's dating profile at the wealthy men and celeb club_ million airechats.c o m_. Is she going to find a Dad there for her baby

Considering I never said all of ya'll were ignorant it just kinda proves that you KNOW that you are & if you're willing to admit that about yourself- then good for you!
I hope that Jamie Lynn will take her advice and not end up like her sister. When your parents make you a product your life becomes hard at a young age and Solange is telling Jamie to make sure that she puts that kid first and not her parents or job.

Deb, I thought you were boycotting this website because they posted your last name???
------------
Sorry, but you have the wrong Deb.
12:04: Actually, the way American society is today people want to put religion INTO everything. This country has become more fundamentalist since the 911 attacks and it's really getting tiresome that the viewpoint has become so one sided and people have been scared to oppose the religious right. I'm actually glad to see people standing up to the anti-abortion stance, even if it is just on a celebrity sight.
12:04 but it needs to be said.
It needs to be challanged. The earth was flat once too, remember Dino?
9:30 What do you care if she has a rebel flag on her shirt? Did it ever occur to you that it has nothing to do with racism/slavery? She is just proud of her southern heritage which runs thick in Louisiana. Her family, including Britney, has always made it a point to say they were proud to be from the south. Everything is not always about color.
The way society is now people want to take religion out of everything so they can live their life the way they want to without any guilt or consequence. Quite sad that people trade their morales for short term pleasures. Go ahead, keep living like there is no God. You will die one day, that much is certain. You better hope you are right! You can bash me for actually believing in something and stating my view (just as you do) since its not the 'cool thing' to do anymore, but it needs to be said.
11:27 LovesIT ....Since you are feeling secure in thinking you know so much and the rest of us are just ignorant... then explain to me the whole Sodom and Gomorra,'God's wrath,' thing. Guess that blows your theory of him never judging and being a loving and forgiving God. Just saying!
Deb, I thought you were boycotting this website because they posted your last name???
Come on. Jamie Lynn Spears . I believe you could make a good mother, just like Solange Knowles. By the way, I just saw Solange's dating profile with hot pictures at the wealthy men and celeb dating club m i l l i o n a i r e c h a t s.c o m. Is she going to find a Dad for her baby??
8:00 AM
Ashley, I dont know what religion you are, but mark my word. God DOES NOT judge- no matter the situation or any circumstances. He is loving and forgiving God.
Don't preach what you don't know.
& Also, 10:04 AM
How about you go get yourself a make ver, you obviously don't like the way you look so you make fun of others
Ashley,
I don't know what religion you practice, but you really need to open your eyes. Take a collegiate level world religion class and you will see that there are many more views than yours of hell and condemnation.

9:32, Then maybe "women" shouldn't open their legs if they don't want kids or are not ready for the responsibility.
--------------------------
...and maybe "men" shouldn't unzip their pants if THEY don't want kids or are not ready for the responsibility either.
I swear to God its like we're living in the stone ages. I cannot believe people are still preaching pro life anti abortion. You God forsaken losers should stop finding problems with other peoples decisions and look in the mirror and deal with your own pathetic issues.
10:05: Maybe society should stop placing all the responsibility on women when it comes to sex and pregnancy. Men shouldn't go around spreading their seed if they don't want "kids or aren't ready for the responsibility" as you said. Women don't get pregnant by themselves. Birth control fails, men rape, young girls get sexually abused or aren't protected and loved and therefore make irresponsible choices before even knowing what they are doing. So, stop being so hateful and sexist.
It's amazing how judgemental some people can be...and all the hatred and blame towards women coming from other women. Yes, I'm sure you are all perfect little pure flowers who never have and never will make a mistake! Give me a break. And all the anti-abortionists please stop pushing your agenda on the rest of us. Jamie Lynn is having her baby, why is abortion even mentioned? Oh, because you think she's doing "the right thing." Why does anyone even care what someone else chooses to do with their own body? You have no say in the matter. People are usually only hateful towards other people for one of two reasons: to justify their own choices or because they are jealous of someone else's. Go do some good in this world and stop judging other people.
