Suri Cruise's Favorite Video Is Hairspray!

 James Devaney/WireImage.com Suri is a fan of musicals! The two-year-old joined parents Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes for the Broadway show Hairspray May 2 — because she loves the flick! "Suri was so sweet in her little velvet and taffeta dress," the show's star, Jenifer Lewis told the New York Daily News Friday. Cruise and Holmes surprised Lewis by telling her that Hairspray is Suri's favorite video. The actress didn't expect to see the famous pair at that night. "I turned and there was Tom Cruise saying to me, 'Oh my God, you're wonderful!'" Lewis said. The next day, Cruise sent the cast flowers and a basket of treats from New York City's famous Dylan's Candy Bar.

I really don't think it matters if Suri understands the context of the show, because she is captivated by the songs and dance. I babysit a 5-year old who is in love with this movie. I asked her if she understands why the African-Americans couldn't dance on the show, and she said she didn't know, but she likes the songs. And all of you people that criticize the bottle thing, what are you talking about? I bet half of you haven't even had children.

Why don't you people stop talking about her still being on the bottle. So what? Parents know what is best for their children. I know dr's say certain things about timelines, blah, blah but the fact is that every child is different and every parents does what they feel is right for their child so everyone just needs to leave them alone about it!!! At least she's drinking milk, if the only way she will drink it is out of a bottle then so be it!

I don't remember Connor or Bella getting this much publicity when they were at Suri's age. That's probably b/c Tom & Nicole were trying to protect them from the media. But the publicity who** that Katie Holmes is, she and Tom are pimping 2yr for their selfish expedition. what losers!!!

Ok, once again I am dumbfounded by some of your comments! Why is it anyone's business if she still has a bottle? She is adorable and looks like a very happy baby. So, who really gives a crap what the rest of you think. And kids love music, so it is no surprise that she loves Hairspray. And many little girls also love to watch anything having to do with dancing. Let the poor girl have fun and don't worry about it so much!

She isn't too old to drink from the bottle. She needs plenty of milk during this important developmental period in her life. If she needs to get it through a bottle then that is for her parents to decide when is the right time to give her the sippy cup. The bottle also most have kept her relax and calm.

12:28- Lighten up about a two year old seeing this play. Its a musical- you know those shows that have song and dance. My niece was just about 3 when she became obsessed with Phantom of the Opera movie- she loved the songs and the costumes.She didn't have to understand the context of the film to enjoy the music. If the play was showing locally I would have taken her in a heartbeat. I swear most you will nit pick just to find fault. As for the bottle- folks who say she is too old please remember its not your child so it really doesn't concern you whether or not she uses a bottle. Its not a big deal. You can cite experts but for every expert that says a child should be weaned at 1 there is another saying the opposite. A parent knows what is best for their child. I am sure their are aspects in your child rearing that some would disagree with- but you don't have to face it on such a grand scale.

1221- do you think if she still wore diapers to Kindergarten that it would be bad? Of course it would be! They wouldn't want other kids making fun of her. How old is too old? What if she was 5 and she still had a bottle? There comes a time when you have to start learning how to live civilly. She is old enough to have a sippy cup.
