When I was about 13 my mom started drugging me for behavior problems and within about a year to a year and a half I went from a mostly carefree and happy person to someone struggling with real mental problems. My mind had never been my enemy and now it was. Naively, I turned to the very people who were causing the problem. Their solution? More drugs, of course. Within about a year or so after that, I was taken off the stuff that made my brain sluggish and put on stuff that caused my system to be overworked. My dosage was soon pretty large for my size. It held me back in life. I was hypomanic and in some ways numb and I let people walk all over me sometimes. This is just a watered-down version of my story. Anyway, during the last few years I was on it the obsessive-compulsive stuff started resurfacing big time and making life difficult. I was so relieved when I finally quit because I could finally think again to a large extent. However, the issues were not over as I had to deal with drug damage and with issues to which I had been blind on Prozac. In addition, the drug held me back so much that I didn't manage to get out of this toxic environment and I have been put through extreme emotional trauma, which in turn caused me more gut trauma, which in turn holds me back emotionally. In addition, my credibility has been damaged because I've been put through the psychiatric system. The drugs definitely had a negative effect on me spiritually, partly by increasing my suggestibility. I've had to water this story down a lot, but psychiatry has damaged me on many levels. Please don't do this to your children.

Nancy Grace got busted again after the Court ruled against the State of Texas, and which ultimately “ruled” against everything Nancy has said for months now regarding the Polygamist Ranch issues. The three Judges have essentially “ruled” that Nancy is a complete and total liar and a fraud. The Judges have essentially “ruled” that Nancy has victimized the viewers of her show, as well as Nancy victimizing all the children and the adults from the compound which will likely sue Nancy and others for the crimes Nancy documented against herself, once again. Form a line to the right, and get your checkbook ready Nancy. Payday’s approaching real soon, once again. Crimes against victims will cost you big on this case too, Nancy, you should have learned your lessen before from the previous lawsuits you lost earlier. Looks like you’ll have to slow down on the alcohol and prescription drug consumption/usage a bit now Nancy, to help cover your loses on these upcoming suspected lawsuits too.

I know that Tom Cruise is A really good person. I am a scientologist myself and understand where he is coming from. One could say that he is a loud mouth and other such things but if one actually stepped back and looked at what he was saying they would see that he is just trying to help and get people off of drugs. Since time immemorial man has always taken a spiritual path rather than the drug path, which seems to be more in use these days. The best way to know what scientology is all about is to go to an organization in your area and find out for yourself instead of listening to what the media has to say. Since being in scientology I have been healed from both epilepsy and ashma. Find out for yourself.

Ok you are not educated on the subject, understood. You have never done the home work - that's cool. Before anyone starts defending Tom because it is his religious beliefs, keep in mind that the premise of scientology theology is not what is being attacked.
They have an interestin theology, but it is the organized religion that is scary.

They bully and follow you for more and more money, and as Tom stated they are THE way not A way. They think they are better than others. I got away from them but still get harrassing phone calls.
When your audited you must give personal information. They write it down and when you don't agree with more sessions they read you what you said and remind you how devasted your family would be to find out you were depressed (big deal)

Have your theology - I won't judge. Use your beliefs to take money and bully - that's a cult

I don't feel sorry for Tom at all! He's obscenely wealthy and always has the perfect, jet-setting life and now a biological child with his trophy wife. He looks like a madman anymore, and he's also dangerous for preaching about Scientology. It's a cult, not a religion at all. David, most women these days can't stand Tom Cruise and we won't forgive him for what he said about post-partum depression, another subject he knows nothing about since he never experienced it (and never will). He lost the majority of his female fans with that one.

If it makes you feel any better, David, the number of women drooling over Tom Cruise has lessened considerably lately.

Sadly, you are right 4:01. Those of us who loved him in Top Gun, Risky Business, etc., can watch those movies and remember Tom Cruise BEFORE Scientology. I won't waste a penny on the Tom Cruise of today.

Because we live in a free country, Tom can rant all he wants about his bizarre beliefs. However, he shouldn't be surprised to discover that every movie he or Katie make from this day forward won't be supported by most of the thinking public. His talent as an actor has been overshadowed by the Scientology doctrine that routinely rolls off his mind-controlled lips. I will never see another one of his movies - even on DVD.

Why on earth does he care what other people do? Why can't he just allow people to deal with their personal issues in their own way? What works for him might not work for someone else. Get over it Tom. Geez!
