The Willam Defoe girl was one of my favorites, she needs to up her meds, but my very favorite was the tour guide guy in the gold suit. OMG I haven't laughed that hard in awhile. To me this is the best part of IDOL.

I thought it was pretty amusing. Just one thing I have to say about Star Wars girl, honestly her not getting through had nothing to do with her being wierd, or not being the cookie cutter image, she really couldnt sing well. But she did a great job at getting her 15 mins of fame! And that Janis Joplin wanna be, honestly she made herrself look so iggnorant! The judges may be harsh but showing how iggnorant you are by flipping off the camera, and screaming really makes you look like an a**hole!

The stalker is a comedian locally in Philadelphia and was kidding, most people didn't get it including Simon. I think for the one person who commented saying they shouldn't audition they know they will be judged harshly, it's clear some of the contestants have mental health issues if not learning disabilities and they don't get it, that's what's sad. They don't have the cognitive ability to understand I don't think they should exploit those who have concerns. The producers screen the people first and then let through to the judges the next day and they purposely pick people who have delays or who are strange to get through for TV/ratings instead of focusing on the talent.

I actually agree with 9:04. I don't watch Idol until it's down to the last 10-12 contestants (although that's no longer a guarantee that the cringe-worthy have been weeded out, after Sanjaya). I think it's sad that our culture is "entertained" by watching someone embarass themselves in such a public way. Granted, it's their choice - but I think some of these people believe, for whatever reason, that they have singing talent. To see their dreams crushed on national television while they're being publicly humiliated for our giggles seems cruel. (Anyone want to throw a Christian to the lions? What a laugh!!)

None of them were good! That girl, Christina Tolisano, was horrible! She looked liked a man!

That was truly entertaining last night.I haven't laughed so hard in a long time!

Not going to watch, find it disturbing how low we have become to enjoy making fun of someone who, mistakenly or not, feels they are talented.
