Actress Sean Young voluntarily admitted herself to a rehabilitation center for treatment related to alcoholism yesterday.
According to a statement obtained by The Insider, "It is understood that Young has struggled against the disease for many years."
The move comes after Young, 48 — star of 80s films such as Stripes and Blade Runner — got boozed up at Saturday's Directors Guild of America Awards in L.A., heckling Julian Schnabel, acclaimed director of The Diving Bell and the Butterfly, during his acceptance speech, according to Variety.
"Get on with it" she screamed at Schnabel.
"Have another drink, honey," he replied. As he started to leave the stage, the crowd urged him to stay.
Young was later ejected from the ceremony.

Sean Young's awesome! Big deal she gets drunk and hollers some things to some stiff on stage. If she didn't do anything then nobody would have had anything to talk about. No one would have even heard of that awards show if not for Sean Young. I'm not a huge fan of hers, per se, just a wild girl myself that gives boring people stories to tell later.

OMG, Sean Young will never go away with her drunk ass.., PUHLEEZE google Catwoman and Sean Young if you don't know about that whole fiasco..its awesome....Sean Young is kinda like Sally Kirkland..they are Hollywood's resident train wrecks, they will hold these positions in Hollywood forever...that is until Lindsey Lohan and Paris Hilton get old enough and used up enough to take their places... BTW..Blade Runner seriously kicks ass...she was so beautiful then...wtf happened to her after that movie? Oh man, and that one spoof movie Sean Young did with Armand Assante, thats like one of the funniest B Movies ever. Armand Assanta was a sexy lil bastard...whatever happened to him? Maybe he will make a drunkard appearance at the Oscars...fingers and toes are crossed....

Heckling at an awards show - TOO FUNNY - too bad there isn't more of that - it sure would make the shows more interesting to watch!!
BTW - She was a very hot commodity in the late 80s/early 90s until she publicly feuded with James Wood. They supposedly dated and when they broke up he started seeing someone new who supposedly had an abortion by him and Sean was stalking them and leaving dolls (representing the aborted baby) on their property. Weird sh*t!!
