Adam Sandler
 Adam Sandler, born New York in 1966, has taken a unique sense of humor from music (most famously for “The Chanukah Song”) to stand-up to the big screen, starring in more than a half dozen films that have grossed over $100 million.  Sandler and his wife, Jackie, have been married since 2003. Their first child together, a daugher, Sadie, was born in May 2006. Sandler also has a child from a previous relationship.  Adam Sandler got his start with a recurring role on The Cosby Show as a friend of Theo Huxtable. He moved on to Saturday Night Live, first as a writer and then as a performer. Sandler then cornered a market for low-brow humor with a string of movies, from Billy Madison and Happy Gilmore to The Waterboy, Big Daddy, Anger Management, and Click. Sandler attempted serious acting in Punch-Drunk Love (2002) but his best successes have been pure kid-oriented comedies. Sandler recently released Reign Over Me with Jada Pinkett Smith and I Now Pronounce You Chuck and Larry with Jessica Biel.
