When Lindsay Lohan first broke into the biz at age 13 in 1999, she was a fresh freckle-faced redhead who enjoyed “rollerblading” and hanging “out at the mall with my friends.”
What is her sister Ali like at 13?
Well, she’s a lot more, uh, mature — at least judging by a picture taken of the budding singer (who turns 14 next month) in October.
In the shot, Ali wears heavy make-up and has her hair blown out — a complete contrast from her sis’ early days.
Still, despite their differing appearances, mom Dina says her girls have a lot in common.
“My daughters have an interest in the arts,” she said, “and I support them.”

I love it when some posters say you cant blame the parents for the way their children act. I for one would not let my daughter wear alot of makeup and wear short skirts. My daughter is 13 and she is not allowed to even have makeup. When she wants to wear makeup my wife applies it. As for the skimpy outfits since I pay for her clothes she will not be wearing those typed of outfits until she is out of my house and living in her own apartment. Lindsey, Britney and the Paris Hiltons of the world have been seen going to clubs when they were 17 or 18 years old. I dont care how much my daughter makes and how famous she is I would not let her go to clubs no matter how much these clubs pay her to come there, and if she did go to a club and drink I would do my best to have this clubs liscence be taken away for serving a minor.

That's nuts, I can't believe I'm just seeing this, not only does she look older than her sister, she's the oldest looking 13 year old I've ever seen. Reminds me of the little girls pageants where mothers cover 5 year olds in makeup until they don't look like 5 year olds. Thing they have in common with Dina is they're all trying to get success through their daughters. Sad.

The comments here disgust me inasmuch as concerns about "LEGAL" age are thrust in. SO, until a girl is up to age to legally have consensual sex with adults (which differs in many states), or LEGAL as in 18 years of age to star in pornography, she is better off playing a sexless cute disney cartoon character of snow white?
It's a very creepy sentiment and it seems to be part of the American puritan connection between sex thoughts and sin. As if any suggestion of sex were equivalent to the act or the most extreme exploitation. No wonder it's such a NON-erotic country. As soon as as any sex is suggested, it's demanded and assumed.
As if everything existed only to be consumed. As if everything was made "for YOU", whoever "YOU" happen to be.

This girl doesn't look good, she looks cheap and tarty, and her image is way too sexualized for such a young girl.

god.....did Dina offer you tea when you were over at her house guys? cause im asuming you have met her and the rest of the family and seen first hand how they behave together....i feel meeting the woman is essential before you go criticising her parenting skills! Im 17 and my mother is constantly going on about "wearing too much make up" and "too short of skirt"....but do i listen?....i prefer not to actually....god do i actually have a mind of my own? yes i think so and i am perfectly capable of making my own choices.....Lindsay went down a bad road...yes i agree but it certainly wasnt her mum her pushed her down it.....and may i also say shes currently trying to clean her act up!....her sister looks gorgeous here and shes in the limelight in frigging hollywood...would you seriously not be trying to make the best of what youve got????
