Allison Janney has a movie recommendation for the Spears family: her new comedy Juno.
"I think Mrs. Spears should take both her daughters to see it. I think they'd both love that movie," Janney told Usmagazine.com at the BlackBerry "Pink" Pearl Launch Party in New York Tuesday night.
In the Oscar-nominated Juno, Janney plays mom to a pregnant 16-year-old played by Ellen Page.
Some have drawn comparisons between the comedy and Jamie Lynn Spears' life since the Zoey 101 star announced last December that she is expecting at 16.
"Juno has a great dialogue for parents and kids because it really doesn't politicize the issue," Janney adds. "It's not pro-life, it's not pro-choice; it's pro-individual... It's [about] having a supportive family who listens."
Since announcing her pregnancy, Jamie Lynn — who has been spotted with a GED book — has been "on hiatus," her publicist told the Associated Press on Monday, even as the fourth season of her hit Nickelodeon show Zoey 101 begins.

"ho". not "bleep". i take it that's what they use to cover up curse words. Mybad.
I still don't get why Jamie is a "ho" and why this is some horrible parenting ordeal.
Let's face the facts.
TEENAGERS HAVE SEX!
Just about EVERYONE does it at this age.
And just because she made the adult choice to keep the baby after her adult decision failed her, she is seen as a bleep and her mother is seen as a terrible parent.
I don't see that a srelevant to the situation.
I'm seventeen, and still everyone i know has sex. [And i don't live in an impoverished area. I live in an enriched suburban envronment]
Just because she accidentally got pregnant doesn't have much to do with bad parenting and "being a ho".
Everyone relax
It is not the parents fault. Her mother thought she would never get into something like that, so that must mean that she taught her better. When you make bad decisions its no one's fault but your own. She herself said she didnt believe you should have premarital sex but she still did it didnt she? So its her damn fault. Not her mothers!
Um, hi it was published the weekend her story was announced that Jaime Lynn and her mom were at a screening of JUNO! you call this news, or tabloid news, seriously um try that perez had it 3 months ago that they had seen it. seriously us your better than this
little girls get pregnant every day. every hour. it has nothing to do with their parents. little girls get pregnant because they have sex.
Please understand - little girls get pregnant when they have a narcissistic parent. They are starved for attention. When a child has sex and gets pregnant it is due to the parent failing that child. If the child is under 18 the parent is to blame for not protecting the child. Period. Mrs Spears sets no boundaries for her kids. She has let them become money making 'stars' so she doesn't have to grow up herself. Children making children. Infant society.
yes it is the parents fault for letting there little ho's go out and have sex and act all grown up.

OMG. Poser is back? WTF?
Allison Janney is a fabulous actress.
Um hello! Doesn't anyone remember the news reports of Lynne and Jamie going to see that movie shortly after it came out, and about a week or two before she announced her pregnancy?
I dont believe that the way a child acts or adult acts has anything to do with the way the parent raised them. You can have the best parents in the world and still end up making bad choices. Cuz in the end its all up to that person if they want to follow the morals and beliefs they were taught!
where is her babys daddy? oh wait, he was with me last night! maybe her kid will have a sister/brother the same age! wooo...oops, i did it again!
12:46 - Yes, you can blame the parents. History has already proven that children need to grow up before becoming parents. 16 is not grown up. And this is a girl of entitlement - like her sister - ...be an adult? Don't make me laugh. Someone else will be raising that baby. And it won't make her stronger...only more careful in the future to use protection...unless she's trying to keep a man...Very Sad Individual - And she can use your prayers i'm sure -
This sort of thing happens all the time now. If she was not an actress or the sister of Britney Spears no one would care. She is a role model and the thing is I commend her for being honest about the situation. She put herself in an adult situation and she took a stand and decided to be an adult about it. People make mistakes. Everything happens for a reason and it will only make her stronger. People cannot blame the parents for this. I wish the best for her and her family. The whole Spears family is in my prayers! God bless
to all of you nickelodeon/disney lovers/spears lovers....get a life!
12:27 - so because others have made mistakes that makes it okay? People like you have such a warped sense of what's morally right - people in glass houses should not be throwing stones...
I know it's supposed to be a movie - but it's a sad commentary to say that it's actually a reality, not a fantasy. This country is in a downward spiral and the Jamie Lynne Spears of the world and movies like Juno just perpetuate a false sense that this kind of behavior is normal, everyday and acceptable. It's not. In an age where most kids can't even be accountable for themselves, we are letting them be responsible for another human being?? Give me a break - That's what's wrong with kids today - they're being raised by kids who don't have a clue. Ignoring the basic fundamentals of child rearing. Love, discipline and education. In two words...God and family.

We praise a show over a 16 year old getting pregnant, we are such a messed up nation. Morals, anyone heard of them?
Hey, Moron, That was a Darn Good Movie! People should not judge young adults for becoming pregnant, there are many successful stories of young adults overcoming and providing for thier child. There are also lots of stories regarding Middleaged women getting pregnant, going on welfare, because they were irresponsible. So STFU!

I thought it was reported that she already saw Juno with her mom.
I thought it was reported that she already saw Juno with her mom.
Actually I believe as soon as the news of her pregnancy surfaced, she was photographed with her mom, Lynne, walking in to see the movie, Juno. Yawn, Usmagazine.... get some better stories.
No... they actually went to see Knocked Up not Juno! But I do agree with Allison. Both Britney and Jamie need to go see the movie.
Who said her show was on Disney? It says in the article Nickelodeon and learn how to spell.
Yeah, I think it might be a bit late to teach Jamie Lynn the consequences of having unprotected sex....
Allison Janney is right, Lynne Spears should take her daughters, Jaime Lynn & Britney, to see Juno! It'll teach them what happens when you have sex so young, unprotected, and the consuquences that follow!
HER SHOW IS ON NIKOLODEN NOT DISNEY.
AND DIDNT SHE AND HER MOM ALREADY GO SEE THAT IT WAS REPORTED?
US Magazine already reported that Lynn and Jamie Lynn went to see the movie.
NICKELODEON... NOt Disney
