Earning the nickname of “that band camp girl” for her work on the three films in the American Pie franchise, Hannigan has also appeared in bit roles on the TV series Touched By an Angel, Roseanne and Veronica Mars. Capitalizing on the teen audience who loved her in the “Pie” films, Hannigan starred in include Dead Man On Campus and Date Movie. For her role on Buffy, Hannigan was awarded a Teen Choice Award and Saturn Award.
