Amanda Peet Bio Bio

Amanda Peet starred in the recently cancelled NBC comedy-drama Studio 60 on the Sunset Strip. Born in New York in 1972, Peet graduated from Friends Seminary High School in 1990 and from Columbia University with a history degree in 1995.

Love

The actress married screenwriter David Benioff in September 2006 and gave birth to her daughter, Frances Pen, on February 20, 2007.

Career

After getting her start off-Broadway and on One Live to Live, Peet guest-starred on a handful of television shows, including The Single Guy and Seinfeld, and starred in the short-lived WB series Jack & Jill (1999-2001). Peet has had steady film work, including appearances in She’s the One (1996), Southie (1998), The Whole Nine Yards (2000), Saving Silverman(2001), Igby Goes Down (2002), Something’s Gotta Give (2003), and A Lot Like Love with Ashton Kutcher (2005). She co-starred in the NBC comedy-drama Studio 60 on the Sunset Strip with Matthew Perry.
