Where Are They Now?

Chris Sligh

Age:
30
Season:
Six (top 10 finisher)
Current Location:
Nashville, TN
Relationship Status:
Married
Chris Tells Us:
“After I finished up the Idol tour in September, I relocated to Nashville and began recording my album in November. I signed with an indie label with major distribution out of Atlanta called Brash Music and my album, Running Back to You is out May 6. I wrote eight of the 13 songs myself. The first single, "Empty Me," has already broken Billboard's top 20 Christian songs! Perhaps one of my favorite achievements so far was to sing with Michael W. Smith, Amy Grant, Mandisa and Phil Stacey at the Dove Awards a few weeks back. Finally, my greatest achievement is coming up: on May 9, my wife and I celebrate 5 years of marriage! Life is good.”

Check back here each week to find our Us Idol Rankings, where we’ll handicap the current competition and offer candid commentary on who we think will get booted and who has the potential to win it all

David Archuleta

While it's tough to imagine innocent Archie loving anything tender, he did a great job with the Elvis classic, and continued his strong showing with "Stand By Me." We’ll always love him, even if he admits to serenading his pooch with this tune alone in his bedroom. (Now there’s a mental picture!)

David Cook

DC was just a'ight this week, dawg. "Baba O'Riley" and "Hungry Like the Wolf" were standard fare for Cook, and we have just six words for him: Wake Us up on finale night.
