she is not beautiful. she is not sexy. she is not talented. she is not to be pitied. she is disgusting. she needs to go away. people need to quit acting like she is an icon. there are hundreds of thousands of pathetic souls such as her and her husband who just want to abuse themselves until they die - i say let her. some great talents have succumbed to their addiction and it was a shame - she is definitely not in their league. why do you people continue to pay omage to her? make her go away.

All of you people who were running at the mouth about this woman need to do a little research on the other huge and hugely talented artists who battled- and lost- to their own addictions as well. Until you throw all of your Ramones and Queen songs out as well, maybe you should keep your mouth shut regarding this one woman. And besides, how do we know when the last time was that YOU took a bath? Gosh, I guess it can be easy to be horribly mean when you're anonymous.

She might be talented, but she is wasting her gift. I think she is gross and needs to get a hold of her life. I wouldn't pay a penny to see her. Nor would I buy any song of hers. She needs to take a hint and say YES to rehab. Lot of people struggle with addiction, and it is a tough battle, but she won't even do anything to try and help herself. In a way I feel bad for her, and in another I'm so disgusted and don't feel bad for her, because she has the means to get help and won't. She's destroying herself. What a waste. WAKE UP!

To be able to sing is one thing; to be able to sing through a recording session is another; to be able to sing on stage continuously through the length of a concert is yet another (at least to my tin-ear). To do all that while having a lung disease is incredible!
