She's got AIDS. I thought it the second I saw the pictures of her wrecked face a few months back, and the latest news really confirms it. No wonder her parents do not reel her in so much. She's clearly dying of AIDS and not doing a single good thing for herself. She knows she is dying and has decided to totally self-destruct.

Amy's clearly an interesting character, and I admit that I am fascinated by her very public hell. But, when you stop for a second and realize that this is an actual human being, it is really quite sad. That jack*** Blake may have given her the inspiration for a hit album, but he also gave her AIDS and a serious drug habit. Well, she will go down as one of the "die young" music legends, but she really could have had it all ... fabulous wealth and fabulous men ... if she had just kept it together.

There must be something terribly tragic in her past, and it is sad she never healed it.

Smoking/Secondhand smoke is a killer. Read any ciggarette box. Any fool who smokes should know they're poisoning themselves.

This reminds me of a true account I read .. a woman was visiting a friend in hospital who had cancer. This woman then said she wanted to go out for a smoke. Her friend looked her straight in the eye and said, "Here I am trying my hardest to beat this cancer and there you are trying your damndest to get it." According to the writer (the woman in the story), she was so moved and had the message hit home by her friend's words so hard that she quit cold turkey that very same day

First, there is no such thing as "a little emphysema." That's like being "a little bit pregnant." Second, emphysema is when the small air sacs in your lungs collapse, and each time they collapse and form a larger sac, it fills with fluid at the bottom. With emphysema, you literally drown in your own fluid. You drown from lack of air. She's a f*8king GIT for continuing to BLATANTLY SMOKE when her lungs are so damaged. Smoking also causes heart attacks, Amy. You are a f*cking retard and obviously need your father to wrest control of you in a court of law so that he can commit you into long-term care.

To all those talking about her great talent, diva status, etc, please listen to some REAL soul singers, like Aretha Franklin, Diana Ross, Otis Redding or Ray Charles... then come compare them to Amy.

Amy is just like Jamie Lidell in her approach to soul. She's good at that but please, don't make of her a "God gifted" or something like that because she's not. Only because music basically sucks these days and everything is so shallow, doesn't mean her stuff is such an extraordinary thing.

I would act the same way if it was my sister or someone close to me. But I would have straighten that person out before it got this serious so I wouldn't be in that kind of problem.
