The FBI are questioning Nicole Kidman in the investigation of private investigator Anthony Pellicano's illegal wiretapping. The questioning concerned a recording of a conversation between her and Tom Cruise found in computers seized from Pellicano's office in 2002. The New York Post reports:
The recording was evidently made in 2001 after Kidman and Cruise announced they were getting a divorce. Cruise was represented by top L.A. matrimonial lawyer Dennis Wasser, who is known to have used Pellicano on other cases. Kidman, who was repped by New York lawyer Bill Beslow, hired private eye Richie Di Sabatino...The tape the feds played for Kidman "was probably from Tom's phone," said Di Sabatino. "Pellicano used to tap his own clients."
Others stars the feds have questioned about the case include Warren Beatty, Garry Shandling, Kevin Nealon, and two reporters that received death threats while working on stories about Steven Seagal. Their first question being, “Who’s still writing about Steven Seagal?â€
