EXCLUSIVE: Bachelor Andy Baldwin & Karina Smirnoff "Very Affectionate" in Vegas

Bachelor Andy Baldwin and Dancing With the Stars' Karina Smirnoff hooked up at the Palazzo hotel in Las Vegas this weekend.

"Andy and Karina were together by the pool all day Saturday," an eyewitness tells Usmagazine.com.

"They were very affectionate," the source says. "He was very affectionate with her. He was touching her feet when she was laying on her chaise lounge. He made sure he was always touching her."

The new couple also watched a fight at MGM and hit Tao Saturday night, the source says.

Baldwin, 31, split with Marla Maples in May. Smirnoff, 30, broke up with Mario Lopez in June.

When asked about his new fling Monday night, Baldwin told Us: "Karina is an outstanding dancer and a very sweet girl but that's about it."

Smirnoff told Us after her split last month: "At the end of the day, I really want to find that certain person to spend the rest my life with. And I am totally open for that — so any single, good guys, send in your resume!"

Shondra, where did you ever hear that Tessa found another guy while he was deployed, and if she did, good for her. Remember Andy was pictured in the park with some Iranian woman and on New years eve, he was skating on thin ice with Marla Maples. What the hell did he expect? He was probably trying to make Tessa jealous, but he is going about it in sooooo the wrong way. As someone has already said, she was worth whatever it took for him to "give up". He seemed unwilling to let go of notoriety. It's really a shame.

6:28 am...Andy and Tessa are not the first couple for whom "love is not enough". It happens all of the time to many couples. As to why love is not enough for this couple, the reasons are theirs, and theirs alone. The public only knows what the gossipmongers have spread around. Only Andy and Tessa know for sure. Regardless of the reasons, it is sad.

BTW 8:46 am.......Bevin was in love with the idea of getting married again and now she is getting her wish! It would never have worked with Andy because he fell head over heels in love with Tessa.

9.06AM....I think both Andy & Tessa know that they are meant to be together, and are both secretly pining for each other........don't sit back and wait for true love to prevail,you need to work at making it happen.....It would be sad if you both end up settling for less and make the biggest mistake that most make,and regret it for the rest of your life.

I like to believe that if Andy and Tessa truly love each other they will live, learn and find their way back to each other. True love will prevail.

Tessa could never commit. Always was on the fence. She met some other guy when Andy was deployed and left him.Too bad.Bevin truly loved Andy,and now she is engaged.

I don't believe this "Sometimes Love is not Enough" theory. If Andy truly loved Tessa he would have realized that she was far more worth any notoriety or attention that he could have ever received from the limelight. Looks like the media spotlight is much more important to him. I still don't think that Andy knows what true love entails. Too bad, Tessa seemed like a very special lady.

Boy, the tabloids are having a slow day today! Andy and Karina are JUST friends, nothing more. They have never been more. They have almost nothing in common (except being D-List celebrities). Karina is still reeling from the breakup with Mario and actually, Andy is still mourning the loss of Tessa. There is nothing romantic between them, just friendship. And, btw, Andy has more female friends than anyone could count.

Maybe he met her in Vegas to see if anything was there. Spent the weekend with her, had fun w/his hands but he realized that there was not a connection. Can't blame a guy for trying. she is ultra beautiful!! that long black hair that accent that scratchy voice that exotic look.(maybe shes spanish) her body is so toned and i like her face. shes got chiseled features and looks exotic. she moves like a snake on that dance floor- shes the bomb! she also is so talented. shes one of the top dancers in the world- what have the rest of us accomplished- including me. i admire her. andy is real cute and has good values.

What a joke! Andy says there is nothing to their relationship--and the observer says he could not keep his hands off her all day. Andy would hump a dog if it meant he would get his picture or name in the paper! Andy uses any celebrity to bring attention to himself and show his masculinity. Maybe he should be serious and forget about "Don't ask--don't tell." His behavior isn't convincing anyone about his sincerity about a meaningful relationship with any female.
