Angelina Jolie recently announced, to much fanfare, that she would be a stay-at-home mom. "I will stay at home to help Pax adjust to his new life," Jolie told the Ho Chi Minh City Law newspaper on March 16. "I have four children and caring for them is the most important thing for the moment."
So it came as a surprise four days later when Variety reported that the Oscar winner had signed up to play an assassin in Wanted, which is set to begin shooting in April in Prague.
Even more bewildering was Jolie, 31, showing up in Chicago on March 23 for screen tests on Wanted.
The fact that Jolie was anywhere but at home with her family was odd. Just eight days earlier, the actress had picked up her newly adopted son, Pax, from a Vietnam orphanage.
But, despite what she told the Vietnamese newspaper, the mother-of-four does not appear to be slowing down any time soon. She's also slated to star in Atlas Shrugged and The Changeling, which is preparing a fall start.
"That does seem like a heavy workload for someone with a large family," Christine Adamec, author of Is Adoption for You?, tells Us.
Adds L.A.-area early-development psychologist Marcy Axness: "Children thrive on predictability, continuity, security and rhythm in their daily life."
That's not the only about-face Jolie has made recently. The day Jolie picked up Pax at the orphanage, where paparazzi swarmed, she said, "Photographs make him upset.I'm sorry for bringing this into his life."
And yet, just days after picking up Pax, Jolie staged photos of herself, Zahara, Maddox and Pax and sold them to the U.K.'s Hello! magazine and People magazine.
Why the change of heart on the photography issue? Why can't Angelina settle down? Is she confusing Pax? Will Brad and Angie's relationship last? For more details on Angelina's strange behavior since the latest adoption, pick up the new issue of Us Weekly, on newsstands this week.

I know none of you really know these two and neither do I. I am concerned that maybe you have lost your minds to have stong opinions either way. You are canceling your US mag subscription? It is scary that you had one!!! Get a clue we read these rags for entertainment - not one of you can say you don't! If you would stop buying them - they would go out of business and not be able to print things like this. Well, I have no doubt their intentions are good. I beleive they are good parents wether they are working on a movie or not. They beleive in what they do ,and they do that with all their heart. I can admire that.
I think they feel lucky in life (for the most part) , they got it all. Outside-inside beauty, fame, children, and anything money can buy. They just want to give back to the world something -they got the "power" to do so. There is nothing wrong with that. Why do we get shocked and start to doubt right away when we see something good happening in the world?

I am not a fan of Jolie. Everything about her is hyprocritical and all she cares about is to be on a over of a magazine. having kids is just a show. It's not big deal how many kids she adopts. I dont know why everyone makes a big deal of stars adopting. They should focus more on regular people. They are the ones who adopt for the love of kids and not for fame or glory. Having a superstar mom or dad is not good for the kids. Jolie is using her kids for fame and attention.

There are plenty of moms that work full time and have children. But as a mom I wouldn't sell pictures of my children to the media. As a mom, it's my duty to not only protect my kids, but to be a role model and teach them about morality.AJ has some serious issues of trying to look like the perfect woman and the perfect mom. She should practice what she preaches, and if she says she's going to be a stay at home mom, that means longer than 8 days!!

How is it that this magazine is readable?? I mean 90% of their stories including their cover stories and headlines are FALSE. I never buy this magazine, because it writes FALSE negative stories about celebs' personal lives. It make false accusations without proper research. I was discourage my friends to buy it. They only buy People magazine, because it reports TRUE stories, unlike US magazine. People magazine will continue to run in business. US magazine won't have the same longevity, cause magazines full of BS lies are just CRAP.

What I love are the articles coming out that say the relationship has cooled off. Of course things have cooled off. What relationship could thrive with all the dynamics that have changed in this relationship? And, instead of taking time to smell the roses, or in this case change poopie diapers, they keep changing the dynamics. The relationship may survive, but that seems very unlikely.
And, back to what so many have written. Who will be the true losers? The children. There will most likely be another biological child before the break up. Angelina will then have two so called blobs to make motherless orphans while she goes on saving other peoples babies. In that way Brad may have chosen wisely. Not many mothers will go off into the sunset without so much as a look behind at their children.

I think that this woman has serious issues mentally and emotionally. She help end a relationship which could have been repaired, and carma will pay her back for that. Although she is adopting children and this seems like a good thing to do, if she can't give up a little bit of her life while her children grow and bond with her, then I think that she needs to re-think being a parent. I know the woman has money enough to just take a couple of years off to be a "Mother" to her children. I also think that Brad is probably hurting for his little girl right now, he has not had a chance to bond alone with her, and that has to be bothering him to have a fourth child added into the picture so soon. I think the whole relationship is doomed and I do feel bad for all the children that will be hurt the most by it.

Nasty! Why all this hating?
The child was being raised in not the most ideal of conditions (i.e an orphanage), with nothing to call his own in a third world country.
How can people judge Angie for bringing him home and welcomming him into her beautiful family. None of you know her. You just have ideas about what her life is like- and I bet theyre all shallow and pathetic.
Ange has done sooo much good for this world. Read her book- its horrible, sad, heart wrenching, and you will see what a beautiful and humane person she is.
And what kills me is that people are STILL going on about Jenifer Ainiston. COme on.. THis is ridiculous, she has a life, Im pretty sure she isnt throwing herself on the ground, weeping daily for Brad, its been over a year now. Im sure shes at home perfectly happy getting wasted and gossiping while Brad and Ange actually get out there and do things that matter.

Where was all that social justice when JA and BP were having rough spots in their marriage? Yeah, maybe JA can't hold a candle to AJ when it comes to humanitarianism but she was BP's wife.
The thing AJ should've done was encourage BP to work it out instead of leave. That is the best kind of social justice one can do in the world. Stop breaking up important, vital, life-giving relationships.
I'm not surprised that AJ is being attacked in this way. What goes around comes back around.
