It will be quite the award season for Angelina Jolie.
The star of A Mighty Heart is nominated for a Golden Globe and, it was announced this morning, a Screen Actors Guild Award.
For best actress, Jolie will vie with:
•Cate Blanchett (Elizabeth: The Golden Age)
•Ellen Page (Juno)
•Julie Christie (Away From Her)
•Marion Cotillard (La Vie En Rose)
For best actor:
• George Clooney (Michael Clayton)
• Ryan Gosling (Lars and the Real Girl)
• Daniel Day-Lewis (There Will Be Blood)
• Viggo Mortensen (Eastern Promises)

The awards will be telecast on TNT and TBS on January 27 despite the writers' strike, thanks to a deal between the Actors Guild and the Writers Guild of America for one of its members to write the ceremony.

I can't believe that angelina is up for an oscar her movie Mighty Heart was horrible. The movie itself did not even get nominated. That has to say something it only brought in $9,172,810 at the box office. I think its so that we can see her expression on her face when she loses!!!!!lol

Drug usage does not equal crazy. Mental illness does not equal crazy either, which is moot here as Angelina has never said she has been diagnosed with anything. I think most would say she was depressed in her teens and early 20s, but that is not crazy. It's insulting to say so, aside from being an uneducated comment.

Yes, read, inform yourself from reliable sources, love, care about somebody else than yourself, and do somthing GOOD. This is exactly one of the reasons why I like Angelina, who is not your typical HW "star", she's huge and doesn't have a pr-people and doesn't care about that HW underground. Since she's seen the "real life", seven years ago, she realized how her problems were small and not a reason to rebel.
Brad is now joining her, he's alive and literally flying now.
