Angelina Jolie is feeling chatty these days -- even while fully clothed. With her movie A Mighty Heart coming out in a little over two weeks, she sat down with Marie Claire to talk about the film, a guy named Brad, and her ever-growing brood. Read on for excerpts:

On A Mighty Heart, and putting things in perspective:
“My work has always been a great way for me to deal with things in my life. Focusing on [Mariane Pearl's] story on a daily basis, you certainly don’t worry about your life. I mean, there isn’t a better film to make you hyperaware that you should complain about nothing.”

On jumping in to life with Brad Pitt:
“I think we both went on a lot of faith—we really did. Our family has grown very quickly, and we have a lot of responsibility together, and we acknowledge that we are lucky we turned out to be for each other everything we’d hoped. We could have been very wrong, but every challenge we hit has brought us closer. It has been that kind of relationship.”

On Brad as a father for her kids: “I’m so happy for my children—especially Mad. I didn’t know if he was ever going to have a dad. So when I watch them having real strong father-son time, or even when Mad tells me, ‘This is a boy thing, Mom,’ it’s just really beautiful to see.”

On budgeting her time with a big family:
“Everybody needs individual time. Shiloh has our attention when the others are at school. Mad stays up the latest, so he gets the nighttime. During the day, I’ll go for a walk or do something specific with Pax or Z. And then Mommy and Daddy have some time. Mommy and Daddy need to try to figure out more time right now. We’re working on it, we’re working on it. Right now we’re not great about Mommy-and-Daddy time.”

On Pitt bringing her out of her shell:
"I don't know how he does it, but...I talk a lot in the bath. It's easier to talk when you're naked...Get naked with me, and I'll talk!"
