Angelina Jolie Says She Found Focus on Her Weight Loss "Disturbing"

Angelina Jolie — who just nabbed a Screen Actors Guild nomination — admits she got too skinny this year but says she was bothered by all the negative scrutiny.
Jolie, 32 — who says she lost weight while grieving over her mother's passing in January — opened up in the new issue of Grazia magazine.
“The thing that’s disturbing is that instead of people saying, ‘This looks like a person that’s actually dealing with something, probably from emotions,’ they say, ‘Does she fit into skinny jeans and look thin?’” Jolie said.
“I want people to understand who I am as a person is not somebody that’s trying to look thin, but just trying to work through a very difficult year,” she said. (For other stars who got too skinny, click here.)
Jolie said she got through her death of her mother, Marcheline Bertrand, thanks to the support of her beau Brad Pitt (they were recently named Us' Couple of the Year).
“He is just a great friend and when my mother passed, he was so great,” she said. “He sat with me and held [my mother’s] hand. After she passed away he spent the night asking me and my brother about our mother and got us to tell funny stories about her.
“He focused on all the love and joy we were fortunate enough to have had,” Jolie said. “He was extraordinary.”

I must tell u that i myself having suffered from an eating disorder, am appauled that this is even a subject of debate.. Yes. Thats right. I had an eating disorder. but it wasn't becuz i wanted to be skinny. i was already skinning. Are you gonna judge me like u judged her? me as i am, just an "ordinary" girl. eating disorders are not caused by a one thing or even two. there are so many reasons for disorders such as these. And maybe u all should arm urselfs with knowldge b4 passing irrational judgement on that of which u no little or nothing about. I am 18 years old. and have gone through more than ur average girl of that age. and i will never belittle anyone elses problems but i do have the expirence of helping myself through things that others can not relate to. angelina may be a celebraty, and she may be "mrs smith, or laura croft" on screen, but that is just a movie. that is not reality. she is a person with real feelngs emotions and concerns. I'm just sad that the media has made her out to look this way, and that we as the audience have taken the liberty to sink our teeth into what ever drama,or gossip, we can get ahold of. its sick. and all of u that pass judgment on her should be ashamed. Instead of jusdging her u could be sending ur thoughts and prayers to her. But thats never going to change. so those of u that do support those in the spot light that need desperate help. u should be proud that u didn't become one of the crowd. I just hope that who ever sees this, will someday get a reality check.

Ok. let me put it out there that angelina jolie, is not one of my favorite ppl. a couple reasons. I don't feel that what happened with Brad and Jen, just had to do with the fact that jen didn't want kids yet/ever and any other reasons for brad and jens divorce. I believe that angelina had some imorale part to play. But I do not know the whole or real story. and niether do any of u. its not fair for us to judge her. Though many ppl will, what is the real reason for us to make such rash judgments. ask urself this question: do u know her personally? do u what her life is all about? no. u only know what is in the papers and magazines. You only know what the entertainment business wants u to know. its pathetic.

Okay, first, people can we just get a basic grasp of English grammar? I know this is an American website but even so you'd think most people would be able to comprehend the difference between "there" and "their". The first one denotes location, the second one is a possessive. If you can't figure that out, get off this website, get yourself a grammar book and study it. You'll be doing yourself a favor, trust me.
Second, please keep your religious hypocracy to yourself. If you're that worried about god and his wrath then you probably shouldn't be wasting your time on gossip sites. It doesn't make it okay because you don't know the people you're gossiping about and it doesn't make it okay because you're "defending" those people. You're still contributing to the malicious, gossip machine. If you've got some kind of hotline to god and think he would like that then feel free. If not, then either shut up about god or just get off this site. If there even is a god, I'm sure he or she has better things to do then worry about what is written on a gossip rag's website.

No need for you to feel sorry for anyone but the kids as Angelina and Brad have actively courted the media. If she doesn't like living under the microscope then she should practice a little more discretion. Instead she's been a media bleep for at least the past three years and then whines about it when she's painted in a less than flattering manner. Other celebrities manage to do charity work and stay out of the spotlight so there's no reason why these two hypocrites can't do the same.

And yes she does look like she is only 28 while sabor tooth horseface Mangelina looks like she is 40. she is so caked up with makeup whenever she is on the red carpet. Whereas Jen can just wear mascara and pull her hair up in a pony tail and still looke gorgeous.
