Anna Nicole's Diaries Flop

Two of Anna Nicole Smith's diaries failed to sell at an auction this weekend and are now in a kind of remainder’s bin, available for a minimum bid of $25,000 each.

An unidentified German businessman had bought the diaries – which cover 1992 and 1994 - on eBay for more than $500,000 a few weeks ago.

Two people were going to bid on the diaries but they backed out, according to the Associated Press.

The potential bidders were scared off by allegations by Smith’s boyfriend Howard K. Stern that the diaries were stolen. That and the pages reeked of Diazepam.

I have a hard time understanding why anyone would want to pay that amount of money for her old diaries. I know it's ANNA NICOLE SMITH, but still that's a lot of money!:)

It's so disgusting when people try to profit off of someone elses death. If the current holder of the diaries had a conscience, they would simply give them to the estate of Anna Nicole so that someday, perhaps when her daughter is an adult, she will get to read what her mother wrote.

Apparently Anna Nicole's sister is writing a tell all book about her sister. I can't understand her wish to do this except to make a quick buck. Everyone already knows the basic story of Anna Nicole, so you know that her sister had to have told the publishers that she would include some scandalous info that none knows, in order for them to agree to publish it.

I don't feel so bad for Anna Nicole Smith, except for one thing: the media obsession with her upon her own death.
I wish the media would let up on all things Anna Nicole already, since I've no patience for that garbage.

Ummm..people have been making money off dead folks for years. Ever heard of Elvis, Marilyn Monroe, James Dean, etc? Most celebrities are worth more after they're dead than they were when they were alive. Not that Anna Nicole can be put in the same class as the aforementioned people who were actually celebrities and not just jokes.

I feel so bad for Anna Nicole. She's been gone just over two month and she still isn't able to be at rest. Everyone knows that she was a bit crazy, out there and of course liked to have fun, but she was still a human being and between her burial, her son, her daughter, someone taking things from her home and so on, people should just let her RIP. People should be ashamed that they are trying to make BIG money or money at all on such a tragic and sad death. Whether people want to admit it or not, Anna Nicole was an inspiration to many and there were many that loved her dearly. May you get the peace that you so rightfully deserve Anna and to those who are trying to make a quick buck off of her, what goes around comes around.
