A proposed Anna Nicole Smith biography may reveal more intimate details surrounding the troubled model's life. The New York Daily News reports that veteran entertainment journalist Joyce Wagner is looking to sell an Anna Nicole Smith biography based on hours of never-before-heard interviews she conducted with the recently deceased pin-up.

Smith enlisted Wagner to write her story in 1996 when the former Guess? model was fresh out of rehab and low on cash. While a book deal never materialized, Smith and Wagner reportedly grew so close that the writer eventually became Smith's manager.

Included in the interview tapes (which Wagner claims were recorded during a sober time in Smith's life) are shocking claims Smith reportedly made about being abused by her mother, Virgie Arthur. After an episode where she ran away from home, Anna recalled: "[my mom] came straight upstairs. Without even asking, 'Why did you run away?,' she started beating the s- out of me. She started kicking me with her boot." Arthur, who is currently fighting for custody of granddaughter Dannielynn, did not comment to the newspaper.

The interviews also paint a sweet, if somewhat unorthodox, picture of Anna Nicole, the wife. "We had sex a lot," Smith said of her time with billionaire husband Howard Marshall. The pair were married when Smith was 26 and Marshall was 89. "He could not exactly satisfy me, which is to be expected. But he was very satisfied himself. That's really all that mattered to me. He satisfied me in other ways. He cared about me. He never looked down at me."
