I think they will be good together. He seems to be very mature and appears to have a good head on his shoulders and they look very much in love. I only wish them the best and hope they decide to stick together through everything, marriage is rough with or without kids.

My grandparents got married within 3 months of meeting one another. My uncle was born 7 months after the wedding. They have been married for over 60 years now! You can say it was a different time or that older generations had more commitment to a relationship or society had more stigma toward divorce, unwed mothers, etc. But the simple fact is that regardless of how 2 people come to be in a relationship, married or not, it takes a lot of hard work and a commitment to the longevity of the relationship to make it last. It takes a realistic approach whereas both parties know that sometimes things are gonna suck but they are willing to roll with life's punches and accept their differences and make it work. My grandparents never wore rose colored glasses, they put in the hard work that was required during the ups and downs over the years and that is why they are my heros. Will Pete and Ashlee last? Who knows! They clearly have the best intentions since they both decided to go through with a wedding...give them a break and just say good luck!
