Ashlee Simpson and Pete Wentz have confirmed they are expecting their first child.
They announced the news — which Usmagazine.com first broke in April — on his Web site, friendsorenemies.com, on Wednesday.
"While many have speculated about this, we wanted to wait until after the first trimester to officially confirm that we are expecting our first child," they wrote. "This is truly the most joyous time in our lives and we are excited to share the happy news and start our family."
The couple wed in Los Angeles on May 17. They just returned from their honeymoon to the Caribbean.
"I feel great!" Wentz recently told Ryan Seacrest of married life. "It is sunny and 65 in my head."

Comfirming what we already knew, but I can understand wanting to wait until after the first trimester, due to the fact that complications could happen, and they just wanted to be hush hush about it and not bring any bad luck upon the pregnancy, so I can understand that. However, them getting married was a shot gun wedding, no matter how you look at it. You all know Papa Joe demanded little Ashlee to be married before having her baby, because him being an ex-Pastor or whatever, he probably didn't want the baby born out of wedlock. Weird that he used to be a Pastor, now he's just a greedy $ c u m b @ g, but it's nice to see he still has some morals ::sarcasm::, lol.

6:18, That scripture that you said is always taken WAY out of context. Jesus is saying to not judge in a hypocritical way. IF someone professes to be a Christian, but they continue to live in Sin then Other Christians are supposed to hold them accountable for their actions.
Chrisitans are supposed to judge by their fruits (words and actions).
If other Christians did not do what Jesus commanded than how are we to know a genuine Christian from a person who is a Christian in Name only if we did not judge them by their fruit?

It's understandable to wait until after the first trimester to publicly reveal the pregnancy because that is the most vulnerable period of development for a fetus (when something is most likely to go wrong).

Yeah, they had to confirm it sooner or later. That picture of her and Jessica in People magazine totally gave it away.
NOTE: To all that did not see the issue. It's a picture of Jessica holding her hand on Ashlee's bump. VERY OBVIOUS she's preggers. Anyhow, I understand them wanting to wait until after the first trimester for safety reasons. Good luck. They've got quite an adventure ahead.
