VIDEO: Ashlee Simpson Spoofs Pregnancy
Wednesday April 16, 2008

When Ashlee Simpson and Pete Wentz made a parody video in February that showed the singer with a fake baby bump, they didn't know she would be pregnant just two months later.

In the video (watch above), Wentz pokes fun of activist celebrities by saying the greatest problem facing youth is illegal downloading of music.

"I'll make a f--king baby... because you can't download a baby," he says. "So here is our answer to make the world a better place."

The camera pans to Simpson, who is lying on a bed with a fake baby bump and a drink in one hand.

"Baby, get me the Cheetos!" Simpson demands.

On Monday, Usmagazine.com was first to report that Simpson, 23, is pregnant. She and the Fall Out Boy bassist, 28, announced their engagement last week.

When asked about her pregnancy on MTV's TRL Tuesday, Simpson said it was an "inappropriate question.

"Some things, you want to keep personal," she added, "and I think that when people deny [reports], it's probably because it's something they want to keep personal."
