At the Z100 Jingle Ball concert to benefit Autism Speaks in New York City on December 14, the High School Musical star made her first public appearance since undergoing surgery for a deviated septum two weeks ago.

Of course she got the nose job because she was unhappy with her nose but she probably really did have a deviated septum too. She got that corrected and also had the bump removed and got things straightened and shortened a bit. So what? She feels better about herself. I had a nose job too and my nose looked very similar to Ashley's original nose. I did get my deviated septum corrected but I also got my bump removed and my self confidence has improved so much. THAT is what counts. How she feels about herself and if the nose job made her happy. Not what a bunch of sniveling, jealous, self-righteous idiots say. Get off your high horses.

its just the makeup that makes her look pale. It was a BAD picture taken. The magazine just did it on purpose. Ashley also did it for medical reasons. And who cares if she did get a nose job everybody does, and at least she's like not taking naked pictures like Vannessa or Miley so leave Ashley alone.

guys... you dont need to shave down a bump on your nose to fix a deviated septum. she might have had a deviated septum but she didnt need to fix the bump on her nose (which she previously admitted to being self concious about)to fix it. the septum is nowhere near the bump she fixed. youre all pretty naive to believe what she said. i think she was gorgeous before the nose job, with very unique and pretty looks. i thought it was impressive she didnt get a nose job. oh well.

For you naive people who think that one needs to change their entire nose in order to correct a deviated septum or other breathing-related issues, think again. Such a drastic change was completely unnecessary from a breathing perspective. Not to mention, from an aesthetic perspective.

She now lacks character. Why on Earth did she think she had to be a cookie cutter copy? How boring, unattractive and self-diminishing!

Her nose looks fine in my opinion.

I don't really think it's anyones job to say if it looks good or not, however.
She didn't do it because she didn't like her nose, she did it because she had breathing problems.

My only suggestion is to fix her make-up. She looks kinda ugly in the second picture, no offense.

I'm still a fan of her acting. As for her singing, not as much. Sorry.
