Bai Ling Pleads Guilty to Disturbing the Peace

Bai Ling, who was arrested for shoplifting last month, pleaded guilty to disturbing the peace charges in Los Angeles yesterday.

She was fined $250 fine, Los Angeles city attorney Frank Mateljan told the Associated Press.

On February 13, the actress, 37, was busted for stealing two celebrity magazines and a pack of batteries (worth $16.22) at Los Angeles International Airport.

On Monday, she blogged that she was “relieved” prosecutors did not charge her with more serious misdemeanor charges.

I really like her. She strikes me as being very fragile woman, but also very creative and free spirited. It is hard to say why people have compulsions to do strange stuff, but most of us do dumb things now and then. If she needs help, I hope she gets it.

... shes probably wearing what she stole. oh nevermind, it was a couple magazines and some batteries. but given the chance, she would wear them. she should ask gwen stefani for a job. im sure she would hire her as a harajuku girl
