Barack Obama has confessed to Usmagazine.com that his daughters, Malia, 9, and Sasha, 6, are obsessed with Miley Cyrus and Beyonce.
But when it comes to his presidential campaign... well, not so much.
"When I call them, they say, 'Daddy, what did you do today?' I say, 'Well, I spoke to 35,000 people,'" Obama told Rachael Ray in an interview that aired Tuesday.
"It's like, 'Boring!'" he added. "It's not interesting."
The Democratic presidential hopeful – who is Just Like Us — called campaigning "thrilling except I'm not seeing my wife and kids enough." (They usually see each other once a week.)
Wife Michelle — who recently wrote a letter of support for her husband in Us Weekly — said she still can't get over seeing her husband's face on campaign memorabilia.
"It's sort of like, 'Look, it's Dad!'" Michelle told Ray. "'Is that Dad on a shirt? Is that Dad on a stick?'
"It's just Barack," she added. "What's he doing on a shirt?"

This is so cute......it's a typical reaction I would have expected from kids their age, seeing Beyonce and Miley as important figures....LOL. Of course when they get older they will better appreciate the fact that their Father may become or will be the first black President of the United States, and then I can hear them saying "my dad rocks" he is the first black President.
For now, it's cute knowing that they are regular kids with regular feelings. His wife is equally as cute by suggesting "Why is her husband on a t-shirt, it's just Barack...LOL?. I love this family and I think not only will they do great things for the country but they will personify what family is really all about....fun loving and keeping it real!

It's so sad to see that some people in our world are very ignorant. We should bond together and not attack each other on such minute issues such as Barack Obama's children. It's obvious that he's an intelligent bi-racial man and his wife is an intelligent african american woman. Saying so, of course they would raise two very intelligent little girls. The average little girl has some obsession with a celebrity. Regardless of what you may think everyone is equal. Your child is no better or no smarter than theirs. I have to constantly push this into my student's head. No one person is any better than the next person. We have to work our way to the top and not bring someone else down on our way up. It's sad to see people who make comments like David's and Jennifer's still exist. You are the reason that my job as a teacher becomes overwhelming. Parents like you create children who are ignorant and you expect teachers to create genius' out of such chaos. Think before you speak please.
