Not all but a lot of people in foreclosure were living above their means and made poor business dealings with regard to the mortgages on those homes. It's ironic that poor people have been losing their houses to foreclosure sales for years (low income people and minorities in this country) and nobody gave a damn. Now that it is affecting the upper income and middle class people, it has now become such a tragedy. They put the blame on the economy. Our dependence on foreign oil is the driving force behind the current war. Not weapons of mass destruction as they would have us believe. And the government is expected to bail them out. Well, they put the present administration in office and with all the money spent on the wars (weapons and etc) the government has no money for anything else. I say, welcome to the real world.

You ask , If I would like to be there neighbor , sure I would in my dream , but in reality NO , why because you're talking more property taxes , maintence , power bill , etcccc . Why would I want to move from the new house I'm living in now ??? I have a pretty home it has nice things , 4 bedroom , 4 bathroom , 3 car garage , inground pool , walkout basement , golf course yard .

For that size of home I could get it built for alot less from
custom builders I personal know . Actually my builder ( friend ) build my house , there's new homes being build daily around here .Plus I did alot of work on it myself too.

Anyways happy for them too.

After realizing how "less " contractors have to pay on material ,
they get a huge profit . French door I wanted $3,000 ( for one ) my contractor brought it for $1300.00. Oak door . that's one example .

I am so so so happy for Ben and Jen!! They are so wonderful together. They are the ultimate super couple. They are one of the only couples in HOLLYWOOD that are down to earth, normal and just your average couple. I wish them the best and all of the happiness in the world. God Bless!!

If I could afford a 9,000 square foot estate, I would buy one in a heartbeat. Good for them, and I know their baby will be beautiful, just like Violet.

Congratulations and best wishes to them. They both seem like genuine hard working people who are in touch with reality. Both having come from humble beginnings and for the most part have stayed true to living as normal as possible in spite of the business they are in. When you think about it that is really nothing compared to the $35 million TomKat paid for their house. I wish them every happpiness.

I don't know how you all got on this subject but I have to chime in. The problem with the Patriot Act is that it is MISUED against people who are NOT threats. For example, I had a friend in college who started a "Drumers for Peace" group to protest the war. All they did was sit by the cafeteria at school and play drums. NOT TERRORIST ACTIVITY. However, under the Patriot Act they were BLACK LISTED from traveling in airports and taken into a small room and searched because of their protest activity. Peaceful protesters should not have their rights taken away under this act! This is supposed to be a Democracy. Under the Patriot Act, it's not!
