Ok..this is a comment re: Amber's Obama "list" that drives me crazy when (I assume) Bush loving repubs list "wants to make the minimum wage a "living" wage" as a bad thing...think about it...people at the lowest end of the wage scale would actually be able to feed their families and heat their homes on their EARNINGS! What a concept!

Since you're too ignorant to get past a made-up, genetically and biologically disproven societal concept such as race, then let's exam some race & history. The first & most advanced society (B.C.) on the face of this Earth were the ancient Egyptians in Africa. The Ancient Egyptian society was ALL BLACK. They invented & practiced advanced arts & sciences including astrology, advanced mathematics, engineering, arts, writings, medicine & even the first spoken language amongst many other achievements including construction of the Great Pyramids of Egypt & the Sphinx of Giza! Which by the way, the "white" race with all their advances and so called "intelligence" can't duplicate or even figure out how they were constructed even until this day! So "black power" sounds pretty good to me, if you want or need to call it that, because we can see where 2000 years of "white power" has gotten us so far. And as far as being scary, that's always the first reaction of people with inferior intelligence to those of superior ones, which they can't understand. What's to be afraid of? As a Black man in this racist society, we all know as President he would be watched & scrutinized closer than a hawk. For instance, he would never get away with getting a blow job in the Oval office from someone who isn't even his wife & allowed to stay in office, right? Or, allowed to remain in office when its been proven that he didn't get the majority of the electoral votes needed. We all know that, NOW don't we?

SO disappointing! Thought Ben Affleck and Jennifer Garner were considerably intelligent people. A vote for Obama is a vote for Socialism, and for the "black power" platform his former pastor and church promote. Regardless of race, we should choose someone who reflects right values on the important issues. Ultimately, he would raise our taxes sky high. That's about all you can "hope" for. • He voted no on notifying parents of minors who get out-of-state abortions.
• Supports affirmative action in Colleges and Government.
• In 2001 he questioned harsh penalties for drug dealing.
• Says he will deal with street level drug dealing as minimum wage affair.
• Admitted marijuana and cocaine use in high school and in college.
• Has said that one of his first goals after being elected would be to have a conference with all Muslim nations.
• Opposed the Patriot Act.
• First bill he signed that was passed was campaign finance reform.
• Voted No on prohibiting law suits against gun manufacturers.
• Supports universal health-care.
• Voted yes on providing habeas corpus for Guantanamo detainees.
• Supports granting driver's licenses and extending welfare to illegal immigrants.
• Voted yes on comprehensive immigration reform.
• Voted yes on allowing illegal aliens to participate in Social Security.
• Wants to make the minimum wage a 'living wage'.
• Opposed to any efforts to Privatize Social Security and instead supports increasing the amount of tax paid.
• He voted No on repealing the Alternative Minimum Tax
• He voted No on repealing the 'Death' Tax
• He wants to raise the Capital Gains Tax.
• Has repeatedly said the surge in Iraq has not succeeded.
• He is ranked as the most liberal Senator in the Senate today and that takes some doing.

Do NOT vote for Obama. He endorses the racist comments of his Pastor, Jeremiah Wright (calls him family). Obama is a liar ... says he's never heard his Pastor make racist or negative comments about the United States. Bull! Obama was a member of this church for 20 years! There are hundreds of racist and negative comments caught on video of Pastor Wright making these racist comments and yet Obama (a 20 year supporter and attender of this church) has not heard 1 negative comment? Add that to the lies he tells Americans when behind closed doors with Canada and France he states to ignore his public comments. What about Rezco? Did we forget that already? C'mon people ... this is a muslim, racist liar who regularly associates himself with corrupt individuals such as Rezco. Not to mention Obama's association with a confirmed terrorist, Bill Ayers.

Kym, "America" doesn't owe you anything. You are supposed to create your own opportunities. If it is getting harder and harder to do so, you should ask yourself what kind of policies and political philosophies are responsible. I'll give you a hint - big government leftism.

Brian Cooper, when the picture of Obama in Muslim garb came out, I dismissed it as race-baiting. When Obama's wife said that for the first time in her life she was proud of America, I dismissed it because a man is often more optimistic and benevolent than his wife. When videos of Obama's anti-American pastor showed up, I was uncomfortable.

But there is no possible benign explanation for Obama's visiting the Pentagon bomber, not simply once, but several times over a span of years, and taking in that guy's views. There is only one rational conclusion: That within Obama's deepest-held beliefs, he has anti-American premises, he rejects the values on which we were founded, and he is a little resentful of our nation's success, even if on the surface, he says and may even believe that he is for America.

I just cannot support somebody who, at the very least, would exhibit such questionable judgment. Anti-American is as anti-American does.
