After a pyrotechnics mishap during her concert landed two front row fans in the hospital, a concerned Beyonce was at their bedsides.
The St. Louis Post-Dispatch reports that the accident occurred Sunday night at the start of the songstress' set, when an onstage pyrotechnics display spilled into the front row. Though the fans' injuries were reportedly minor, Beyonce surprised them -- and Barnes-Jewish Hospital employees -- when she unexpectedly showed up at the emergency room after the concert ended.
The hospital's head nurse told the paper, "[Beyonce] was just very concerned about the people injured in the audience...I just thought it was a great thing for someone of her stature to do."
Beyonce's publicist, Yvette Noel-Schure, tells Usmagazine.com, "The story is true. Beyonce went to the hospital. They [audience members] were in very good condition last night.”
