Now in days celebrities make careers fopas all the time, honestly the public has seen and heard worse from other famous celebs. Miley Cyrus is no different, the picture was for vanity fair for god sakes! a well established magazine that would expose her to a whole new fan base. Miley should've not posed semi-nude on VF... it sends mixed messages to her young fans. If I were Miley's parents, I would never ever let my daughter pose like that, she's just 15, if she was a bit older, then yeah go ahead..

Age people, AGE PEOPLE! 15 years old, people! Why don't you actually look at the picture and see what the picture suggests. If you don't see nothing wrong with this, well, wait till you have a child and see if you would agree with this. The flipping role model junk is out the window, I don't believe in any celeb being a role model, because of this sorta crap Miley pulled. Parents, be a role model to your children, obviously someone like Miley, whom is 15, finds it so hard to respect herself. I don't normally agree with O'Reilly, but I agree with him on this issue. He hit the nail on the head, Miley Cyrus shouldn't have been in Vanity Fair at all. I read that magazine and I have no use for Miley Cyrus in there. If she were to wear a tank top or something, no one would think of it, but I'll make things easier to understand, maybe if she was legal age, we all wouldn't be having this discussion. The last few days Miley has had several photos being released of her being a "dirty" little girl...she ought to feel ashamed. Disney has already been fuming over this and they are trying to do damage control as we speak! It is Billy Ray's fault! Don't preach buddy if you can't handle your business!

The picture on VF was clearly inappropriate for a 15-year-old, and especially a kid building on an image of wholesomeness. I despise the people that try to say there is nothing wrong with it. You know there is, you just don't want to admit it. Stop being a turd and just admit it instead of trying to SNEAK your moral relativism into the culture and then lie about what it means.

What is clear at this point is that Disney needs to innovate new contract clauses that allow them to dump someone as soon as something like this happens. Right now, they are relying on their reputation as family entertainment. One or two more of these kinds of incidents with Disney stars, and their reputation is over.

I can just hear the pediphiles now grooming their victims by saying, "Don't worry sweatheart, it's going to be a beautiful photo of a beautiful girl. Look, I'll make you look just like Hannah Montana...now take off your shirt...that's a good girl." I can't blame Miley anymore than I can blame any other child victim. After all, this was a "world, famous photographer" someone her parents obviously trusted. Shame on you, Annie!!! You should be the one apologising instead of Miley. When are we going to start prosecuting child pornographers...instead of making the child victims the bad guys?

That's a ridiculous statement. Are you saying that it's okay because it was Annie L. and Vanity Fair, but if it was some random photographer it would not be okay? It's the end result that matters not which photographer took the photograph. At the end of the day she is still a 15 yr old and the photograph is too sexy.

I also agree with the person who said the photos of Miley and Billy Ray looked more like boyfriend/girlfriend than father/daughter. Kind of creepy.

This kid (family) will do anything for publicity and to bring in more cash. They're fine with exploiting her in the photos until they got the negative feedback from everyone. Then, all of a sudden she's embarrassed, and changed her mind about the shoot. It just sounds to me like her current publicity stunt backfired and now they're doing damage control. Can't upset their cash cow. Don't worry, they'll think of another way to exploit her. Shame on the parents!

As a thirteen year old girl, I do not think of Miley Cyrus as a role model. She has had scandels with photography before. She needs to grow up and realize that you can't always blame other people. She originally said that she liked the picture but now she's taking that back and saying that someone took advantage of her. That is complete BS!! If she really was a good role model and didn't feel comfortable with the situation then she should have said so. Both of her parents were there and both approved the picture so stop blaming other people and own up to it.

She'll probably turn out to be another Vannessa Hudgens.
