The problem with the picture isn't necessarily the fact that she shows her bare back. The issue is that she is wrapped in bedsheets with her hair disheveled and it looks like she just had sex. That is a problem. She is only 15 and is a role model for young girls and you know come to think of it ...so was Britney Spears!!! Look how great her life has turned out. I think that it seems inevitable that a teenager who becomes a mega star will want to do things that seem too mature for what their age is. I think back to when I was a teenager and if I had people around me encouraging me to do "grown-up" things and could get me whatever I wanted, I would probably be in the same boat as Miley or Britney. But thankfully I had great friends and family who showed me that those grown-up things really only cause huge complications if you're not ready to face the responsibility of your actions. As much as I want to believe that someone like Miley could avoid the pitfalls of other teenager superstars, I don't think she is the exception to the rule. Prepare for a downward spiral or better yet an actual teen role model for a change.

i have taken the time to read everyone's comments below me and most of you are right. i thought of miley cyrus as a great role model and all of my younger siblings adore her. it may be true that her dad knew about it because he had to give consent especially to her being a minor or he really just didnt know and annie wasn't being a resposible adult. she is only 15 years old and is still learning. for someone of annie's age, she has no excuses for what she has done. miley only showed her back and a part of her bra, big deal, no one said that you had to look at them, you could of just ignored it. i dont see how any of this affects anyone's life. if she wasn't famous and you saw the same pictures from someone else, i guarantee you that you wouldn't be making such a fuss about it. jealousy is your worst enemy. also, the picture of her and her dad was not a bad one. even though she should of pulled down her shirt, i thought you could see the closeness in their faher-daughter relationship. if you're seeing something perverted, it might be because you are or thinking too much into it. there was nothing wrong with it and billy ray had nothing to hide. most of the time people who say "no comment" do. please worry about yourself, thats their life and you dont have a say in whatever they do, whether you like it or not, so grow up and move on.

I agree with previous to the previous comment. I think the reason why its not easy to move on is because some folks never have taken responsibility for their actions. You can't just have someone do such a nasty act and have everybody say _ let's move on. I agree that Ms. Annie is one who has never taken responsibility. glad Disney at least called her on it. Wasn't their a similar issue in recent times when kids were being abused and priests' bishops were being criticized for "moving on." Not theexact same issue, but somewhat very similar. "I didnt know they were going to strip her down..." -- Thats their PR story and they're sticking to it! Side note: They really need to stop bashing Annie because obviously she helped them get some limelight off it. They dont ever seem to be in the papers for talking about anything else anyways! I think they not only knew about it, but agreed to it knowing it would generate some buzz for them. It's just sad that Annie's integrity and professionalism has been thrown under the bus for it. Im sure that *was not* part of the deal~ She was used to make MC look like a victim.

Why do the Liebowitz pictures continue to be the issue and the MySpace pictures aren't? She wasn't worried about the "poop stinkin" when she took those pictures! And maybe if Billy Ray and Ellie May had stayed with their kid, instead of making a beef jerky run, she would have stayed out of the "poop"! I wasn't Granny's job to run the photo shoot, it was her parent's responsibility. The only "handler's" that Miley needed that day dropped the ball and left.
