Book: Nicole Kidman Once Considered Becoming a Nun

After her 10-year marriage to Tom Cruise ended in 2001, Nicole Kidman considered "nunneries in Australia that would admit women who had been married," author Andrew Morton claims in his new tell-all, Tom Cruise: An Unauthorized Biography.

Kidman's rep had no comment.

Kidman — who is expecting a baby with husband Keith Urban — has two adopted kids with Cruise – Isabella, 15, and Connor, 13 — who spend the majority of their time with their dad.

"I've met many people who have been in Scientology and then lost their kids because they've left it and their spouse stayed," Morton says in the new issue of Us Weekly, on newsstands now.

The book is the latest controversy for Cruise: New footage, in which the actor says he tried to save America, has surfaced.

Nicole Kidman is a wonderful mother, and actress. why on earth she married that loser Tom Cruise, I don't know.
I belive the marriage was controlling, and Tom was very manipulative. When she was married to him, she always looked sad. I believe she put 110% into her marriage, and was completely shattered when Tom cheated and dumped her.

I am so happy that she has finally found a real man (Keith Urban), and has a beautiful baby on the way.

This woman left her kids and husband for months to "immerse" herself in one of her roles. She was manipulative and a real user of Scientology methods so she knows how to get her way. Tom always gave in to her demands.

She was a b!tch and stopped loving Tom long before he left her. She had s*x with her co-stars on and off the set. Don't feel sorry for her. She could legally get her minor children if she wanted. She just doesn't want them.

I believe Nicole was so devastated after Tom heartlessly dumped her and shanghaied their kids that she would have sought solace in a nunnery. She has shown remarkable courage and dignity throughout.

Nicole clung to her family and Lenny Kravitz after her divorce. I doubt that she wanted to be a nun. Whatever.

Yes, since she left the cult, er, religion of Scientology (not that she ever got into it, according to an interview with her), she has lost her children. That is pretty evident. He is brainwashing them. I get so damn sick of reading about how she does not love her kids. She is obviously in pain. She never really appears that happy. Now that she is pregnant, she seems happier. I certainly hope she takes care of herself and has this child full term. Her other kids will come around eventually, that is, if they are not completely brainwashed by their dad and that cult. It is sad.
