In the wake of online reports saying Britney Spears will be doing another episode of How I Met Your Mother, a source close to the pop star tell Us "Nothing is signed yet.”
The source adds: “No script has been written and until that is done, Britney will not be making a commitment. The offer is there but no decisions have been made at the moment."
Spears, 26, appeared on the March 24 episode of the CBS comedy. She played Abby, a receptionist at a dermatologist’s office who falls for architect Ted
(Josh Radnor) when he comes in to have a tattoo removed. (It was Spears' first return to the small screen since a 2006 cameo on Will & Grace.)
CBS had no comment about her returning to the series.

1:23 is written pretty well for a twelve year old superfan...
The whole point of my post was to point out that Britney Spears has more important things to worry about than waiting for a script and hoping to get her career "back on track". Like getting her kids back. Like being a good mother. Like taking care and resonsibility for her mental health. Like being a functioning human being. As long as she has to have a parent around holding her hand to lead her through life then she is not okay. I can't think of a single parent who knows their child is incapable of wiping their own a$$ and sending them to a set while in recovery. The spotlight and the pressure is what damaged her in the first place, right? Oh, poor Britney and all the attention and all the press...she wanted it all from day one. She got what she wanted and her small mind couldn't handle it. But hey, there's nothing like making a few extra bucks (when she doesn't need it), more exposure when she couldn't handle it the first time, and more fame to an already fragile human being. I am saying that it's wrong. I don't hate the girl, I feel sorry for her. There is something wrong with going through all she did and still needing to be in the public's eye. That is why I wondered why she couldn't just disappear already. But her retarded fans are no brighter than she is. No wonder her fans are twelve. They share her mentality. Her fans need to grow up.

I think it's smart to have Britney do a few bit parts as it keeps her in the limelight, but in a positive way. It's also helping her have some normalcy in her life that she appears to have desperately needed.
I've never watched the show, but hope she finds herself and enjoys participating.
